Just curious, do you notice your cats behaving different when you had too much to drink?
I looove wine. Sometimes I have too much and I end up being too "cuddly"/"talkative'/"uncoordinated". My cats have different reactions. San looks at me strange and runs away. Ichi acts like there's nothing wrong and will cuddle as usual. Ni takes a whiff of me and seems to find it too funny and lays down and shows his belly for me to rub it. Joji just
. Buddy is nowhere to be seen. QT is okay with it (she lived with wine lovers before me).
However, the dogs wab their tails like crazy. Guess their momsy is being stupid again?

Jake just tries to take advantage of it, I'm sure and get me to open doors for him
That's what he ultimately wants from people.... He can definitely tell when I've had a bit more to drink, I can see it in his eyes- he makes the typical curious face while observing me

Funny question, and I definitely think my cats take full advantage when meowmy is so silly and chipper. They insist on long play sessions with their favorite, Bamboo Fishing pole, I laugh my head off, and they love it

I think it's more us who has changed..........They are simply being themselves, but amplified to one who is intoxicated

If I'm alone, the kitties act as usual. But if I have friends over, Kuura will first hide for a while but gets then too curious and starts sneeking around and checking things out getting more social all the time. Utu will try to take an advantage of the situation and he also tries to do the 'belly trap' to my friends..
Showing off his fluffy tummy, but I'm the only one who he allows to rub his belly so the others must be warned about this or they'll get a gentle love bite and few bunny kicks.
Luna and Tomu are just fine and act as usual.

I think they act pretty much the same around me.

One weird thing I've started to notice is Lola gets very nervous when I get all dolled up for a night on the town.

The other night I was heading off to go out for drinks with my girlfriends, all decked out in a dress and heels with my hair done up. I went to go give her a pat on the head before I left and she backed away from my so I couldn't touch her

Zazzles in the exact opposite, she's fascinated by my whole "going out" ritual. Watching me get ready, sniffing all my makeup brushes, pulling eyeliners out of my makep bag.

It might be your heels. Tails has only ever run away from my roommates girlfriend, and only when she wears heels in the apartment and sort of stomps around

Interesting... As far as I can tell, Genever and Dorothy act the same if we're having a few beers.

And, yell at me all you want, but I will dip my finger in my beer once of twice and let Genever lick it off, she is particularly fond of IPAs. Smart kitty likes the hops! I'm sure she would lap it up if I let her. Actually she has been caught licking the inside of a glass a few times..
But since she's only 3 (and a cat), she's only allowed a finger or 2. I tell her, when she's 21, I will let her have all the beer she wants.
