deworm your cats?
Mine do not show any signs of worms, but I was just wondering if I should give them some dewormer every once in a while, just for safety reasons....I mean, they do eat sme table foods every great while, but not a whole lot.....

I didn't think it was necessary to worm them if they inside cats. I've had to worm mine before because fleas gave them worms. From what I had read in the past was that the worming medicine is a poison and shouldn't be given unless it is absolutely necessary.

Honestly, I don't know if what I read was true or what. I'm sure an expert will share with us the rights and the wrongs to worming.

Ok, thanks Shelle for the info...
I will call the vet, but for some reason I just thought they needed it every once in a blue moon to prevent them from coming....thanks again!

I don't think it is necessary if your cat is inside but if your kitty goes outside; they would need a dewormer pill.....once a month at least. The vet told me that my kitties don't need the pill because they are indoor kitties. You should speak to vet and let them see what they think.
