Anyone hyperthyroid (specifically with Graves) here?

I recently had a bunch of blood work done and part of that was a thyroid panel... but the doctor mistakenly ordered T3 uptake and not Free T3.
Otherwise everything is within range on that, with TSH being a lower normal - .43 mIU/L on their .4 - 4.5 range (still not the .3 - 3.0 recommended in the US but better than it was before). T4's are normal.
I asked that Free T3 be tested just in case and will be doing that in the morning since I have a botched B6 test that needs to be redone then. He doesn't think it's possible, so is just humoring me...

My maternal grandmother has Grave's disease, my mother has nodules on her thyroid but didn't seek further testing for them
, and since I already have one autoimmune disorder I'm concerned. More so because I have a lot of eye pain that can't be just explained as dry eye or eye strain (it doesn't get better with drops or rest, comes and goes a few times a year since fall 2007) and an optometrist that keeps asking me at every visit if I have any diseases that would affect my eyes...

I have a very high heart rate (but low BP) and what could be some other thyroid symptoms.

Does anyone here have this or a close friend or family member with it? (close enough that you looked at their blood work and have helped/been involved with their treatment)

Hi,
I have an underactive thyroid, I had a large goiter with benign nodules removed last may, I now have a tiny bit of thyroid left that does not work (goodness knows why they didn't remove the whole thing). I have low bp, always have and have been suffering the symptoms for years. I can't really help you as my dr never explains all the thyroid tests and goes just on my tsh and doesn't explore further. I still don't feel 100% but getting my dr to listen is just madness as my tsh is now ok according to her! I feel your pain though and just had to post, sorry I cannot help you with your situation, no one explains anything to me at all.x

I'm bringing this back up in hopes that maybe SwampWitch will see it.

After waking up with tachycardia a few hours ago, I'm convinced something definitely isn't right - I shouldn't have it when I'm laying down.
Double checking my labs and info I've came to the conclusion that my doc pulled one over on me and wasted my money.
Full list of the tests he ordered:
TSH
FTI T7 (I'm not a newborn!)
Total T3
T3 uptake

And the best of all, I was not fasting. He knew this and the lab asked but marked me as fasting anyways. Lesson here: don't end up getting your blood drawn right before lunch when everyone is in a hurry. The TSH likely isn't valid and the other three test are nearly obsolete.
He has his offices within the local hospital and he does rounds there. I'm considering raising a complaint/report over this depending on how he acts at my next appointment. Would I start with the hospital board?
I might add, my patience is short anymore. It wasn't always this bad, but it's like I've completely lost the ability to take anyone's BS anymore. I know irritability is a symptom of thyroid issues, so he may have just picked the wrong person to mess with.
