It started With Sami eating less and drinking more and sleeping more. She was briefly showing signs of improvement but it's getting worse again.
However, in the last 3 days Buddy has been eating very little. He will not touch his wet food at all but will nibble on dry and will scarf down treats and is drinking more water. His stool is a bit soft too. I'm starting to think they might have something...We were thinking kidney failure with Sami but now Buddy is showing the same symptoms as her. Is there anything else with similar symptoms they could have passed on? Kinda worried here.
Parker is just fine right now. His appetite and litter habits haven't changed but I am terrified this will happen to him as well. They only different between them two and Parker is that he eats Wellness.

Any ideas at all? My roomie is just waiting on some money to take Sami and Buddy in. Should I take Parker to my parents for a bit? Or if its something catching, could he already have picked it up?

I had the same issue with my 14 year old last month. Turned out he had a cold which still hasn't gone away. I gave him some tuna mixed with pedialite which seemed to help. Most cats will never turn down tuna. He's now on a mixture of fancy feast and Purina one. I give him a can of fancy feast twice a day and a side portion of dry food about a cup. He seems to be doing fine on it. He just all of sudden refused to eat the science diet food he was on and still won't touch it. The vet said the important thing was for him to eat so to give him whatever he would eat within reason. You could also try baby food heated up a little bit. It's supposed to be easier on their systems and smells stronger.

Maybe thats what they have. Would that explain that softer stools? I've offered him some of the Wellness but he doesn't seem interested in the wet food at all. I guess I can try some tuna tomorrow. He seems ok otherwise, I just worry where Sami is doing the same thing.
I'll get some baby food when I am out this weekend and offer it to him. I hope he eats something!

It could be a cold, or maybe they changed an ingredient in the wet food? Since they still eat the dry food, and treats.
