Well I'm back!! We had strep...then my oldest came down with pneumonia. And 3 days after starting the antibiotics, we all came down with a flu from HECK! After a week of that....we are getting better finally.
A few days ago, I went to feed the kitties, and when I do this they circle me crying and meowing. I noticed simba's meow is very raspy. This lasted about 5 days. I kept an eye on him, made sure he was eating and drinking. He was pretty normal except he was very stand offish and testy (we got quite a few hisses at us for no reason other then being too close) and wouldn't cuddle.
Today, he is back to his old self, and his meow sounds normal!
So Cats can get strep! Who knew! Baby didn't catch it thank goodness.
