How Much Time Do You Spend At TCS?

In the beginning, I was here almost every day. As time went on, it got to be less frequent - mainly due to health problems. Now I try to log on as much as possible - health permitting.

Home away from home for sure! If I'm around a computer, I'm usually on here.

TCS is definitely my home away from home. I agree with Kailie in that, if I am around a computer, I am likely to log on to TCS.

As far as posting, I do so when I can. I do not like to write quick, ill thought out posts. If I'm going to respond to someone's post or write my own thread, I am going to offer as much information as I can. I like to share my personal experiences and, as such, that means that my posts are often long. But, I'd rather be wordy than too short. I appreciate other's opinions and I try to offer the same when asked. The only downside to this is that I don't always have the time or peace of mind to write a long, well thought out post. And, in those instances, I usually will read through posts and make a mental note to comment or respond at another time. But, regardless, even if I'm not posting as frequently as I'd like, I am always here reading through posts and offering thoughts, prayers, and vibes.

TCS is my home away from home. And, that means that you're all my internet family. How could I not log in whenever possible?

It would be easier to tell you when Im NOT at TCS. When I'm at work or asleep. Most of the time I'm just reading threads and learning a lot of valuable info. Other times I'm checking in on everyone's babies. It's the only place I can indulge in my feline addiction.

I just pop in here every day. Would like to visit more, but its really hard with school and homework and assignments...

I usually check in everyday. I have some great friends I stay in touch with. I love to keep up with the pictures of everyone's furbabies. Also, I usually check the health thread to keep up with those having problems. Even though it hurts me, I read the Bridge Forum. I have enough points that I usually try to send a gift to many of the ones who have lose their pets.
This is my group of friends who have supported me when I cried. Thank you everyone.

I totally agree with you, Alison Joy. Some days when I'm not feeling up to it due to health issues, I won't post anything at all because I just can't think straight due to not feeling well, so I don't say anything at all. It's rather pointless to try and offer advice if you can't get your head on straight. I'd rather let other people do the talking who know what they're talking about and can get their point across better than I can.

I miss being able to come here as much as I once was able to. TCS IS my home away from home when I'm feeling well.

I am coming around more lately, but for awhile I had almost completely stopped. I spent the better part of 3 months in the hospital, and did not even feel up to using the laptop. I am back at work and don't have as much time as I once did, but I try to make time lately to log on, even if I don't post.

Way more time than I "should!"

As my phone is surgically attached to my hand I'm on pretty much all day every day unless I go to sleep

I might as well live here! Even if I dont post often, it is usually open on my laptop! TCS, Facebook, and Fashism live on my tabs lol!

I put often as possible due to when I am working I can't really get on here because I work 12 hour shifts and have very little time on the days I work but when I am off I try to spend as much time as possible on here.

I think I'm logged in most of the time, even if I'm not here, but not sure. I never log out.

I usually come in right after getting to work in the morning, while drinking my coffee...I purposely come into work early, just to have a few minutes to myself. Then check in from time to time during the day. Not so much at night, unless something is going on.

Ironically, when at home, I don't seem to have a lot of time to be hanging out on the computer....there's always something else that needs to be done.

At least once a day, sometimes twice a day, depending on work, or if I'm sick

I love this place!!! I surprise myself at how much time I spend on TCS. Especially coming from someone who never really used the computer much. So these last two months, my DH is now the one getting after me about how much time I am on the computer typing away. Tables have turned

Considering that TCS is my home page, I had to vote for the last one. I'm on here every time I open my browser.

I didn't know that you could make TCS your homepage! How is that possible?

It depends on what browser you are using, but if you find the options or preferences settings, it'll be there. For Firefox, go to tools, then options, then general.

And yes, I live here

I tried it and it worked! Thanks so much, Tiger!

I figure I may as well set TCS up as my homepage, since it's usually the first place I log on to anyway when I go online.

Not a problem. I'm happy to help.

Tell him he already knows you're a "crazy cat lady", so what difference does it make?
When I first joined almost 5 years ago I was on here a lot. I didn't have a cat (scary thought!) when I first found this site, but I bookmarked it and as soon as I brought home Molly I joined. Then less than a week later I went back and got Polly. I was so happy.

I didn't come on a lot for a while for many reasons:

-health problems
-being a minor; my communication was limited not being able to PM or post in certain forums. I wasn't a fan of that.
-balancing TCS with other websites and online groups
-feeling like I didn't belong and like people didn't want me around here
-lack of time

Now that I'm adult and have the adult privileges, have lots of time, and I'm not in the hospital a lot like I was, you guys are so not going to get rid of me. Sorry.

I'm still fairly new, but I've been popping in everyday to see what's up. I just recently got internet so it can be a little addicting, you know? I'm glad I found this site. It's nice to see there are other people out there who care about their pets.

This is like my other facebook. I will open and close it every few minutes, just to see if there is anything else good going on.
