The vet called this morning and left a message: Ziggy's growth on his face was BENIGN!!! NO CANCER!!!! WOOO HOOOO!!!!!

I feel 2000 pounds lighter!!! Whew!!!

Thank you all for the support and encouragement and vibes. It really helped carry me through this last week.

Thanks everyone! I really HAD steeled myself for the worst news, and must admit I shed some tears of joy when I listened to that message. I'd already started Ziggy on flax meal in his meat every evening as an alternative cancer treatment. I think I'll continue it--as a PREVENTIVE!

Here's a photo of Ziggy celebrating the good news. See if you can spot the incision under his eye! It's healed really well:

Oh my, Ziggy doesn't look worried at all. What a beautiful cat. I have never seen a cat with fur like Ziggy's. Beautiful. We celebrate with you, friend.
