Jack's First Interview!

We had a journalist student contact us about wanting to do a video/report on Jack and his spelling. They came out today and it went well. Cat impressed her to say the least and she got some great video, etc.

She will be sending us a copy/link as to the video and interview when finished. Jack will also be "performing" his skills at our May cat show and we know he will do fine in front of an audience.

She spent about 2 hours talking and filming

I think I missed something. What's this about your cat Jack and spelling?

You didn't really miss anything as I never really posted about Jack being able to spell his name using the letter magnets.

Its something he's been doing for about 2 months. I got the idea cause he loves playing with the magnets now and pulling them down. So I thought you may as well do something constructive then destructive....

Took him about a month to really learn his name with accuracy. He now spells his name (Jack) and what cats say (meow) and we will be working on a few other words before the cat show in May where he does it in the show hall mainly for publicity purposes.

That's awesome!!! What a smart kitty he is! And I too can hardly wait to see the video of him putting his spelling skills to work.

You should send a clip to David Letterman. He often has people and their pets on to show off their tricks. Ellen Degeneres too!!!
