I love cat shows!!! You will have soooo much fun!
You will, of course, want to walk around where the kitties are "benched" (where the cages are) and look at all the beauties. There are vendors who sell gobs of cool kitty related stuff. The show rings and the way things are judged are a bit confusing but don't worry about that.
I would recommend when you walk in, tell the people working the desk that this is your very first cat show. Ask them which judge is a fun judge to watch. They will point to which ring to sit at. Not all judges say stuff. Some just lift up a kitty and stretch it in different directions, then put the kitties back and sprinkle the ribbons on different cages. But some judges give you a running dialog of what qualities s/he sees in the particular cat that are special etc and are lots of fun to watch.
Bring a camera cuz you'll want to take pics (just ask the breeders first) oh and it's bad show etiquette as well as health practice for you to touch any cats without owners permission.
You'll have such a great time!
