Thank you from wishes.

Last night snow from the roof came down, whole house was shaking and as we really don't have any earthquakes here it is surely something that cats don't understand.

I found out that one climbed to end of my bed and stayed there at least so long as I fell back asleep again. He just carefully climbed there and lye down.

They are perhaps bit scared in many situations, but still feel it is ok to be so close to me, puzzling.

I don't know about that, it is only so brief moments really, also still running and hiding and not every day is good day for playing, but at least they are testing what will happen from such thing and surely there have to be some reason why they do come to bed sometimes, I don't need even offer treats for that.

Last night someone or both of them had managed to go to that one shelf I put near the ceiling for the first time, that is great as it is really good viewing spot.

Also they remain active when I did leave, never before they had been active during daylight.

No matter what, eyes got wet and there was something in my throat when I had to say good bye for them for a week, it is bit silly really, but it is perhaps that I have got quite bonded to them already

How fast do cats nearing 1 year old grow?

I think Miuku did look HUGE, a lot bigger than mother cat and I'm pretty sure he was smaller than mother cat a week ago, some 15% increase in a week?

Mouku I did see by a glimpse, I think he has grown too, but first I did mix up Miuku and Mauku as their colours are quite close and I mostly judged them by size before, surely Miuku has different pattern, but black head/neck is same, also white front, it is bit difficult to tell which is which in dark when seeing only top of them.

Mauku has more white on sides.

It took a while, but they did come to eat, Miuku and Mauku both did eat while I was 3 feet away, but Mouku did examine things from distance, he did walked to bowl and looked it and me, then walked away, they are quite a alot more scared of me again, still 5 weeks of this crazy workload, they probably don't even recognize me after that

They also make a mess with dry food and water.

Glad to hear your home safe!!

I'm sure Miuku, Mouku, and Mauku have missed you!!!

Also good to hear that Mauku came out to eat while you were present.
Seems they are getting along just fine.

I'm sure they know who you are and are just happy your home with them again.

Maybe you may have more sleeping buddies tonight??

Luna to makes a mess with her wet food and now her litter. Seems like most of litter is now on the floor. I think its kind of funny though.

Wishing you and your furry friends a wonderful night and day!!!!

Last night Miuku did do some exploring, but not much.

Tonight they seemed to be much better, we did play grab a treat game with them and Miuku has been here more often, once even when I had lights on. Mostly I keep lights off when I keep their door open as it is easier for them to come explore this side.

I have not seen Mauku tonight, maybe she is bit scared as I did do some cleanup there during the day and had to open a curtain and do some things inside their safe area.

Not very long visits, seem like they are getting enough of me quicker than before my trip, have to leave tomorrow morning again, so I don't know if I see them much more until after a week.

Miuku is not looking much of kitten anymore, he has grown somehow so that he does look pretty much of adult cat now, really large paws and legs also body is rather large compared to Miuku.

Ah, I found out that they have learned that high shelf place, all treats have disappeared from there.

I hope you've been taking lots of pictures as they DO grow up so fast!!!!!!

I'm so sorry you have to leave again, but I think they'll be happy to have you back, and get back into the routine right quick.
Maybe even absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Must be hard to leave them, but they all seem to be very happy kitties
. I know what you mean about how they change and grow so quickly. Presley was the slowest to change and now when I look at his face, (still so adorable and kissable) it is somehow bigger and adult like now. Take lots of pictures, they grow up way toooo fast!!!!! Have a great week too

They are still so shy at daylight that I can't get good pics from them, but I just checked and there are over 400 000 images that my video surveillance had taken from them in a month, only issue is that computer will not open folder where they are as there is too many files, should had emptied that sooner

I did Miuku when I did leave, he came to see what I have been doing there, there he looked bit scared from under the curtain, but did not run back to hiding when I did say bye bye to him.

Had to relocate their food and water, maybe now they don't make a mess from them as I think now those are not on area where they like to play.

Could not find one toy, they have hidden it well, but put rest on that play area, found them from many places where kitty paw could not reach.

I had perfect work schedule, but they did change it so this stretch will be now 6 weeks where I must be away at week, I think it is too much, no kitty should have such loneliness, but I really can't quit a job either, it would be bit stupid, I think.

Only thing they really do lack of is human being as they have lot to do, plenty to eat and drink and 4 litter boxes which some are really big ones, so that way they are doing fine I guess.

It is better than outside, snow is melting and needed a tractor to pull my car off from yard as car did sunk into yard, bottom of car was on the ground, it would not be nice to be kitty at outdoors now as there is water everywhere or then really wet snow and loads of mud. At least their life is now better than that

When I came back, I could not see them at all, I did saw water and food has been consumed, curtain moved and treats disappeared, but no cats possible to see anywhere.

So I put fresh water, new treats and I did leave door bit open, it was not for long until Miuku appeared and started to examine my side of upstairs.

I did then give him some food, gladly he did eat from spoon, after he had eaten enough, he did stretched, curved back and rised tail, then set to sit within one foot of me and bowl, back towards me and started cleaning process.

Mauku was looking all this from little further, Mouku as usual was looking from hideout.

Bit later Mouku come to check my side too, but he was little uncertain and decided to go away, but I think he will be back soon.
He did look a lot different, like if he would not have that much of fur anymore, maybe his summer coat is tad smaller

Oh there he was, quick peek and then away, I like how they are getting more used to this ritual, I hope to see them more today.

Once again, you must be so happy to be home! So glad they were OK during your absence... and sounds like things are getting right back on track.

Next week there is eastern, then 3 more weeks of this hectic running, after that maybe little bit of rest, or not, don't know really as plans seem to be changing really quick now.

They are silently entering the room now and are watching me, clearly they have something on their minds

There is someone else.

I did notice that at warehouse there has been another cat, I did leave bit of dry food on bowl there if some feral passes by, bowl was empty, and things were moved, probably have been looking more food, so I did put some more to bowl, will be interesting to check if there is more food disappearing.

None of our shops have their favorite fish anymore, every shop has place on shelf, there is pricetag, but no product. So I can get only other kind of same fish, it is different part of fish, cheaper, but they eat it only if I make it tiny pieces for them, other one was nice to offer from hand and they did chew it from there with shining eyes.

Edit:
I did see Mouku for a long time in good light, he looks short haired now, he still has bit of fur on neck area, but dark spot on face is not so dark and he is really a lot smaller, because his fur is now lot shorter, can it be that he has short fur for summer and long for winter?

Glad to hear that you're back home.
Sounds like Miuku, Mouku, and Mauku are glad to have you home as well!!

That is intersting that you may have another kitty coming to you for food.

About the fur, my guess would be he has just shedded off his winter coat. Maybe not having so much fur makes it look as though his hair is shorter???
