Right! Mauku's in there! That would certainly explain the lack of activity. And the grass is a great idea.
It can either act as fiber, or help them throw up.

Aw, they'll come around!

When we were first rescuing and fostering new cats, as we live in an RV, we have nowhere to separate anyone. We did always explain to our kitties that they were once homeless, so they of ALL kitties should understand, and now they have to share their home with another that needs our help, so they should be nice!

I am wishing you, Miuku, Mouku, and Mauku lots and lots of Love and Luck!!!!

Miuku and Mouku have made themselves at home with you and are settling in just fine.

Mauku has only been inside for just a few days and has been though a lot.

I think that after a day or so everyone will become re-adjusted somewhat and things will be better.

You are doing a great thing for these kitties!!!

I can't sleep door closed anymore, Miuku demands it to be opened, so I then slept with my earplugs on, at one time I got shaken up as someone jumped on my tummy with all fours, I don't know who it was, but it must of been Miuku, others are not visiting this side, I spooked from sleep to up and I could not hear a thing, even less I could see, so I remembered that I had earplugs on, took earplugs off and still could not hear a thing.
Now I don't know if that was some illusion of sleep or did someone bored little kitty really try to get me up, I feel awful, I must revenge these unrested nights by sleeping on their cough, there is more peace

I'm most worried from Mouku, he is too good natured and he freezes when scared, so I hope that he has not put himself to place where from he is too afraid to move as Mauku is there.

Mauku did not hiss or growl yesterday when I put her special food next to her and in process lifted her mattress, maybe she was too tired already for that, who knows, I hope that she has managed to sleep a bit.

Actually only cat that I have seen since yesterday noon is Miuku, can't count Mauku as I have been intruding to her hideout.

Hmm, there Miuku is running around cat room, playing with toys etc, but Mouku can't be seen at all, Mauku of course is not moving much either.

I think that I should go and check how Mouku is doing, but I really don't like to be a intruder to their safe area, but what else I can do, it is second evening that I have not seen him and soon it gets dark again, when it is not possible to see anything, if he is too scared of Mauku to go even to eat or drink, then he could use some of help, I think?

Miuku has already forgotten that there is Mauku, or so he does behave, he now actually walked literally over Mauku, so Mouku should really be playing with him as Miuku is calling him to play.

Edit: At least mouku's head is moving still, he is hiding on shelf just behind Miuku and poor Mauku is on the floor, I did put mouse to end of string and played a bit with Miuku, he was still bit too scared to play, but maybe later he will like to play bit more. Mouku was just scared and trying to hide in shadows, I don't know what has gotten into him, is he so scared of Mauku and because of that everything else or what.

Miuku has that look again, he is up to somethign now, his ears are such way that he has gotten some idea which means usually trouble for all others around him or furniture, looks like it is Mouku that is going to get sneak attack on him now, that Miuku is indeed quite alive 'person'...

I have to say I was laughing so hard reading about how you were jumped on sometime during the night, I was almost crying. I think too it was Miuku

He seems to be just fine with Mauku moving in. He justs wants someone to play with now!

Maybe in a day or so Mouku will decide its ok to come out and play or maybe Miuku just going ahead and attacking him will do the trick.

I think that the more Mouku sees Miuku playing and not bothered by Mauku, he too will come around.

Mouku has always been a little more shy than Miuku hasn't he??

Sending lots of luck your way!!

Mouku was actually one that was always first and with no fear at all, really nice character too, but at one day there was accident with the door and he panicked that he is going to be trapped, so he runs really fast from door that was closing, stumbling at door step and running from obstacle to another and after that he has been really really shy one. I think he got traumatized or something like that as he has been then always bit reserved, however we have been able to make good amount of progress, just not even near to level before incident, it might take year or two from him to learn that away, I think it took months until he was brave enough to come indoors after that and it was Miuku that first did come inside, it took from him long time to get Mouku to come too.

So Miuku then has come to be leader of them two.

I have seen Mouku now few times peeking from under the curtain, but he is not yet had enough courage to come out from there and pretty soon I can't no more see if he comes or not.

I must try with wet food when it gets darker, they should be then much better receiving.

Soon they start to be nasty to Mauku as I'm giving different wet food for her, you see she has developed certain preference of one brand wet food that others don't eat as willingly as different brand and also Mauku is so scared that she is not coming out, so I toss some wet food under her nose into her hideout, well actually I just give small plate there, she does not like that I lift her mattress hideout, but food is ok to eat. She is one of those noisy eaters, can't keep mouth closed when chewing or something so I can hear it well when she eats

I try to increase time I spend with them, but I don't know if it has any effect really as they are hiding during the day no matter if I am there or not, but I guess it works a bit. Might be that Mouku is scared from door being open all night, Miuku loves it, but Mouku is not quite there yet.

Aw, at least Mauko is eating, and Mouku is just fine!

Miuku sounds like SUCH a little character... and I'm sure Mouku will via for leadership soon enough.

Continued for Mauko!

Oh, poor Miuku, he just woke up and went to sofa, he saw bird at window pane and settles for attack, digging in and zoom he launches to get that bird, however result was not what he was hoping for, loud BONK was heard and poor cat was stopped by window glass, stumbling quickly to safety of curtain and licking his failure away from his coat.

Poor thing, was bit on sleep still, I think, he kind of forgot that window, but he has done that before, there are paw prints at window as a proof from that

Maybe I should put something to window so they know better that there is a window, however it would be bad if it does affect what they can see from window.

I can see Mouku thinking there "what a silly kid" as he always take that look when Miuku gets excited over little things

edit:
I did see Mouku just now, tossed few treats to him and he took them happily, seemed not be scared of me, but he was tip toeing looking around, defineatly Mauku must be source of his current alertnesses. Miuku has been up and running almost whole day, he must be bit annoyed by the fact that there has not been nobody to play with him, but he does not play with me during the day, I have tried and perhaps provided some amusement to him in process...

Oh poor boy! All of ours seemed to learn after a couple of "bonks," but I love "the wiggle butt" pre-launch.

They seem to be settling in so well! So Mouku got most of the treats this time?

Mauku is still just hiding - but still eating?

Sometimes I see only Mauku's rear part, sometimes front part, but she is pretty much holding her position under the mattress, which I lift from corner a bit and put her dish under her nose, then say bye bye and lower corner of mattress, she is getting used to that by now, food disappears and she uses litter box that is closest to her, during the night at some time, I can see her foot prints next to wall and litter box as that litter box sand is making really lot of dust, even when they are hiding their things there is nice cloud of dust, so it accumulates during the week.

Mouku has been active now too, it is so funny when I open the door, there is Miuku right behind the door looking me with his curious face, so treat, treat, treat, then Mouku is showing himself lurking behind cat cube thing I made, one which has open sides, he is 'hiding' behind it and comes then to get treats too, so treat, treat, treat to him too, then they both go to window, Miuku gets down to sofa, rolls on his side and looks very relaxed, yawning and looking with dreaming eyes of that scratching post of his.

I would say things are slowly getting normal again, except for poor Mauku, she is completely dislocated, does not understand a thing and can only hide, but I think tomorrow she too has examined the place a bit already, maybe even found out that these two cats she has seen sometimes, just where it was?

That pre-launch wiggle but is very descriptive of how cats do when doing those play attacks, he will get used to that window for sure and maybe he remembers not to get too active right after he has got up, it may lead to some misjudgements

I'm so glad to hear that Mouku is beginning to come out a little!!!

Also good to hear the Mauku is doing ok as well, even though she is still hiding.

I think in another day or so things with Mouku and Miuku will be back to normal with both running, playing, and jumping.

Hopefully Mauku will also join in sometime soon!!

Wishing you, Mouku, Mauku, and Miuku lots of Love!!!!

3AM, Miuku did woke me up being very vocal, ack mew ow prrrurr, then Mouku jumps to bed and examines me from head to toe, while Miuku is being very vocal, either he was saying "go on, I bet you can't do it" or then "look out not to wake up that monster", which one it was or neither one, I will probably never know, but they seem to be rather curious about me, as long as I am at least partly sleeping and my back is towards them.

They have been playing a lot tonight, but I have not been able to sleep very much, it is still nice that they are getting over their fears, much more now.

Very funny to see what happens with mother cat, she is probably bit puzzled of these events which she can only hear from her hiding place.

Even now one of little ones is staring at me from doorway, maybe he is annoyed that I'm now up and he can't be exploring like he wants to, or maybe he is just curious what an odd thing I'm doing, making that odd clickety clkickety sound again, who knows, but they have become very curious by now

I always say, it's great to sleep in the "safe room," because there's nothing less threatening than a sleeping human.
Though of course this is better, as it is them coming out of their safe room to inspect you!!

OOHH don't wake the monster
Sleeping with the enemy
. I also slept in Magilla's room with her and still do on occasion. Now she gets bothered if I move or have to leave
instead of her running off and hiding in her tent.

Sounds like all is progressing quite well with your gang.. Love to read your updates

But this is bit silly, they now got both into bed, stepping on my legs, maybe on purpose, who knows, other one lie down and other is still unsure, they did stay there over a minute, then they did go off, later I think Miuku came back to examine bit more, both of these times I was on my back, but I could not see them and was too afraid to scare them off by moving, so I can only guess who does what.

Noisy one is always Miuku, there is no question about that one, she has been talking constantly with his short cut mews, it is bit like if dog would use tones of cat short quick bursts, with purrsinging or whatever that one is which is like bird singing but with a purr, also many of his sounds include purr. I must try to record it sometime.

Silly part however is that if I go to their room, they do vanish hiding immediately, same if I get sitting on bed, so they are quite brave, but still rather scared, but I think they just need bit time to investigate bit more.

I think that there has been a lot of progress this night, at least my bags under eyes are getting far larger from this lack of sleep.

Morning is coming, everything is blue outside already, so I closed the door as they seemed not to have courage left for long visits anymore, now they are getting relaxed and playing together without need to worry about me interrupting them and I think that when they process this day in their dreams, they will get very much of good moments put into their memory banks, which in theory should help them get around of this new life of theirs again bit more.

It is really a shame that I have to go at sunday already, they will not like from it at all, but can't be helped, I just hope that they do still remember at least part of this all when I come back. I definitely would like to use week or two more to get bit deeper level of bonding, but it can't be helped, only one night left, then it is going to be quite short one night in a week events, which I'm afraid to cause backwards development, but one must be happy to even have a job these days, they will do just fine together, but I'm afraid that this will make great setback towards me, hopefully not permanent.

Must try to catch few z's before sun gets up

edit: Before I went to sleep again, there I saw Mauku going to window and after few moments she leaped to her safe spot, but Miuku and Mouku seemed to be not so scared of her anymore. It is really great to see them getting along and even seeing Mauku to start slowly examining her surroundings, even she still does not quite understand that what she sees outside can't really get to her, but in a little while they are getting better.

That is soooo funny!!
Miuku and Mouku jumping on the bed with you is great!! I can picture them both jumping up, then walking around checking you out.
I only wonder what they were thinking of???

Also its great to here that Mauku is exploring more.

It is sad that you have to leave, but I think they will be just fine. When you return they will have lots and lots of stories to tell you I'm sure!

I hope you have and your kitties have a wonderful day and night!!!

Good luck and have a safe trip!!

Boys are again doing chilling on sofa thing, also Mouku likes to roll on sofa, belly up and tail looking alive, looking around room with head upside down, that they both seem to enjoy.

They are playing some game where they both try to look as relaxed as possible, then other one tries to surprise attack, it is amazing how fast they can jump from those relaxed positions, they are full of energy now and burning it really fast, what a joy to see.

Mauku also did go to eat during daylight for first time, she is still hiding, not taking part of playing, but it is better so, she is not yet recovered from operation, but I'm sure that during next week she is taking part to that too.

Black streaks flying in the air, it is two cat brothers having their mad hour

I would need a high speed camera to capture all of them, they are way too fast for this webcam

Glad to hear Mauku came out to eat a little.

I bet when you get home they all will be getting along just fine!!!

Miuku and Mouku are loving their new home and you for being so wonderful to them!
I think the more Mauku sees them being all relaxed and having fun, she too will be just as much at home.

Luna for the first time today supervised me changing her little box.
All I could think of was how Miuku had to examine your work as well.

These little kitties are just amazing!!!!!

Are you going to be able to spy on them a little with your webcam while you are gone?

Wishing you, Miuku, Mouku, and Mauku lots of Love and Good Vibes!!
