If there were a contest for synchronized cat sleeping, I think that Sam and Bailey would be contendors. These photos are from various times over a two day period. They just crack me up!

That first one was cute, but they improved their technique as the day went on.

The next day, they thought they should go for difficulty points and try the poses closer together.

Definitely seeing an improvement in their technique, and no, there is nothing special to look at, they just have their heads on invisible strings, so if one moves, the other follows.

And finally, all that competition and training pays off. Synchronized cat sleeping champions of the household.

Thanks Heidi. What you can't see in that last photo is that they both have one paw tucked underneath their chest, and the other slightly extended in front, with chin resting on paw.

They are also very good at the synchronized bounding up the stairs portion of the competition, but for that I need a video. They both sit at the bottom of the stairs, and then when I get there they run ahead of me, exactly the same speed, step for step, and race to see who gets in the door of the apartment first. Sam usually wins, but Bailey pushes past him to run in the door.

Oh dear, I just went to check on them and found that they had added a new degree of difficulty. This is Cat Sleeping in the Reverse Half Moon Position.

Too cute, mine lay in the hallway in similar positions sometimes. They aren't as synchronised as your babies, though.

Gee, thanks. I am afraid they look like that a lot. I say its the long hair, pouffing out on either side of them. That is probably true in Sam's case, but poor Bailey has a fair bit of stomach to spread out too. At least they are cute and happy.

Im sorry I didnt mean it meanly!
I meant it totally serious that I love big fat cats, though Im sure they were just poofy since they dont look that big in the other pictures. I didnt mean to offend you, I think they are adorable!
Sorry.
