Mackerel making her demands known. XD

Hey guys,

Mackerel's been sick lately- she had ARF and then severe anaemia. Unknown cause. She was sent home with me last week to die, basically, after spending a few weeks in the vet hospital, but she's made a startling recovery. I took her back to the vet today for another check up, and one of the things the vet said that I should do is to give her some raw meat. I picked up some lamb and gave some to her a little while ago and she LOVED IT. Haha. But she wouldn't eat it unless I gave her the little pieces of lamb, one by one by one by one. XD She wants to be hand fed today. I thought it was hilarious, so I snapped some photos and figured I would share. XD



This photo also shows how thin she is and where she was shaved for the IVs - both forearms and her neck. But she HAS put on a little weight, and hopefully this will help. :-)

Poor little baby girl, she is so skinny! I'm sure she will plump up again soon with your love and your hand-feeding. You can just see how grateful she is that you didn't give up on her! Little sweetheart...

That she's so skinny just rips away at the heart - but her EYES just sparkle with love and life, and she's got SUCH a wonderful meowmy - so many reasons to fight and live!!!!!
