I started having chest pains at work and I spent the better part of the morning in the ER thinking it was my heart and thankfully the doctor said it was something with my stomach and esophagus caused gerd. I can't remember the spelling of the disease right now I was out most of the day because of my meds. And they want me to call a family prac tomorrow and follow up. They laughed at me when they gave me the morphine I told them I was expecting to see pink elephants. I came home and Pixie was all over her mommy but I crashed hard. So tomorrow I will get an appointment and maybe get a stress test.

My doctors tried me out on a couple of medicines, the best combination for me seems to be Zegerid and a daily probiotic. I hope you feel better soon! (Oh, and to answer your question, I've had several scopes done and my GI doctor always puts me under anestesia.)
