Photo contests in 2011?

I have just a quick question. Are the mods planning on continuing our monthly photo contests? I haven't seen any mention of this since last year and, I have to say, I miss it (especially since I now have a working camera ). I've noticed that the contests have started in February in previous years and I'm just curious if we should expect the contests again this year. I, for one, really enjoyed them. The themes were often great and the calendars always so cute!

I'm sorry if this has come up before and I've missed it. It's just that inquiring minds want to know (okay, just my mind, but still ).

With the most beautiful cats in the world, TCS definitely needs some sort of photographic element , but we felt like we needed to freshen up the format a bit. We're not sure yet if 2011 will have photo contests per se, or maybe a special project involving pictures.

I may start a Facebook photo contest soon too - one that will be easy to judge by the "likes" each picture receives.

Well, if the mods don't mind doing the judging like they did before, I think the members really enjoy the contests - even if it doesn't end in the calendar. I know that was a lot of work.
