Okay, I must be a real dunce because I posted my comment and as far as I can tell, it didn't take.
What am I doing wrong?

Ya think one of our furkids will let us "steal" one of THEIR boxes to hide under?

It makes me feel better knowing that I'm not the only
then.
it is ok to use you real name and email
to not receive junk mail, write your email like name (at) yahoo (dot) com (we would never send you junk mail, but spiders sometimes go through sites over the internet and nobody has control over that
)
all you need is first name

TCS id is easier for me to track you thought

I see you posted below about leaving a comment and not taking - I will check and get back to you

Scroll all the way down to post a comment. On profile choose "Anonymous"

Hope it works this time.... If it doesn't, PM me and I bid for you
That's exactly what I did Carolina, and it didn't work.

Do I need to sign up for anything in particular anywhere in order to leave my comment?

ETA: I just tried it again and it still didn't take.

What I find works is if you click Preview post.. and when that comes up, click Publish... I was also having problems posting comments.

Also - I now see hairy blankies in the auction mix. I WANT THE ORANGE ONE!!! LOL!

Let me tell you about those hairy blankies - cats LOVE them!!!

Peggy, the lady who makes them, makes them 100% free, only to donate them for these auctions... If you go to her site and buy one, she will donate 100% of the $$$ for a cat of the Blogosphere in need, right now it would be Shell. She is amazingly giving
.
I have one at home, and my kitties love it so much (so do I), that I had Peggy make one for my Bed - I donated her the skeins, then donated the $$$ for a few cats who were in trouble at the time. My kitties LOVE LOVE LOVE cuddling on it.
That is a great item!
That Bed, the Hammick, is another good one as well! It is the only bed that it is used here in my house - Gracie loves it, so does Bugsy and Hope. I took one to MrBlanche's house, and his cat took to it immediately.
Anyways..... Thanks for bidding everybody!!

I wish so much that I was in a position to help Shell right now, but at the moment I'm paying for Mackerel's vet bills and will be for a while. :-S

So instead I'm sending LOADS of her way and yours, and if someone could give me the link to post on Facebook (couldn't figure it out, I'm sorry. ^^") I'll share it with my Facebook friends and veterinary science student peers who'll be really keen to see what's going on, I'm sure.

Hopefully, I will have Shell's medicine in the next few days to start her on. Right now, she is a bit mad at me. We had a bad storm and I had to confine her to a carrier because we lost power for 14 hours and she was so cold. I ran to wally world and bought those handwarmers and fixed her up inside the carrier to keep her warm. She didn't like losing her freedom even for one night and is still miffed at me. Our bonding time has been set back a bit.

Aww, bless her. I hope she forgives you soon but sulking over her freedom being taken away says to me that she still wants to live, which i know you were worried about last week.

Shell will soon be back to feeling safe again. That is just awful when power is out for any length of time, but FOURTEEN hours! That must have been so hard on you trying to care for everyone with a flashlight. Glad you are back up and running

I tried it that way too, AddieBee, but it still didn't work.
But thanks for the suggestion.
I'm all set now, as Carolina was kind enough to place my bid for me.

I'm wondering if I should place a bid on the hairy blanket - since my furkids are always hogging my blankets. But knowing them, it wouldn't be "good" enough: nothing ever is unless it has my name on it!

Not me. Caroline had to place my bid for me.
And I had to find my own box, cuz my furkids wouldn't let me have one of theirs.

Awww, poor Shell.
Bless her sweet heart.
As if she hasn't had enough to deal with already. But I'm sure she'll regain her trust again soon enough.
She must know by now how much you love her - in spite of all the indignities that she's had to face.

Have you taken any recent pix lately, Hissy?

More to Shell!

Maybe I should try the KFC trick instead of tune the next time one of my kids gets ticked off at me!

I knew she'd forgive her.
I think Shell's smart enough to know how good she has it now.

No recent pictures yet. I can't find my camera- I think it is in my car. I wanted to show you this though, a 15 year old girl stumbled on my blog, fell in love with Shell and found the auction. Now, she has made three pieces of jewelry to add to the coming items! Look at her lovely work!
