My question is...

Have you done you taxes yet? If so, do you have a refund coming or do you have to pay?

I did mine a couple of weeks ago and got the Federal refund on Sat. We just got the state today! This came just in time to pay for the procedure DH had done yesterday and next week. LOL I did get a small flat screen digital TV for the bedroom. It was supposed to be for the living room but DH griped it was too small. So the old big TV is back in the living room and the DVD player is hooked to that. If I want to watch regular TV, I go in the bedroom. We do not have cable.

Mine is filed, but I haven't received the refund yet. I'm getting a little over $250 back. Not much, but better than owing!

Yes - all done and a refund is coming. YEAH for kitties, new toys and maybe a new kitty tree!!!!

Got them in the mail this past Sunday; the refund from the feds will probably be here within a month. The refund from the state, however, probably won't be here until June---seriously. Illinois is broke; last year it took 4 months to get a refund of less than $200.

Mine are done but I don't have the money yet.

This year I was really worried that I might not get any back because the "bonus" I got for leaving my job makes it look like I made a lot this year.

When I got my W-2 I was surprised at how much they say I made and shocked at how much tax had been withheld.

Fortunately my idea of what a higher tax bracket is turns out to me much higher than I thought and I am getting a refund.

The money is going straight to my bank and I'll leave it there for as long as I can since I have not found another job yet.

I started doing them, but need a couple other pieces of information that I haven't had time to dig out yet. I think I will be getting a refund

Havent done them yet, but really need to get on it. I'm hoping we get a nice return this year - got a very nice one last year but the husband claimed a loss on his business (in its start up years). Not sure what it will come out to this year. I did get a $930 check in the mail today refunding me for an IUD & insertion fee from December, that was nice and unexpected!!

We will be getting a federal refund, but had to send the state some. Still coming out about $500 to the good,.
