Excellent timing! I just decided to incorporate Nature's Variety into my cats' diets to add more variety to their regular Primal.

How does your cat like primal? Since you have to spend $5 for the coupon i thought I'd try two different brands NV and either Primal or radcat...

They love the chicken and turkey flavors of Primal. They hate the beef (and one of my cats always throws up the beef, so I no longer feed it). Sadly those are the only three flavors I can get locally, which is why I'm adding in some NV.

How do you serve radcat? In those containers, once frozen... do you have to thaw the whole container or can you easily portion some out for thawing? I've heard great things about Radcat but not sure if its the right product for us since I only want to feed 1-2oz at a time. Thanks!

Yeah, I wish it came in "nuggets" like the Nature's Variety!!!

I buy the 8 oz. containers (I have used the 16 oz., but it is harder to slice down through the double thickness). Kody eats 4 ozs. a day, so I cut the 8 ozs. in half. It can be cut when it is completely frozen with a good sharp knife, just be careful not to slice through the bottom of the container. I have one spot in my refrigerator that I have to be careful not to freeze whatever gets pushed back there. I put the container there and slice it in half that night and put the 4 ozs. in a separate bowl to thaw for the next day. RadCat says it is fine served after thawed for 3 or 4 days, but I wouldn't like doing that.

I admit the Nature's Variety is so much more convenient, but Kody just doesn't like the dry texture.
