I just checked mine to see out of curiosity and the count was 1078!
I don't think that includes every thread I've ever posted in because if I recall correctly I deleted some of them quite some time back because I had so many and was trying to "clean house". I've pretty much given up on trying keep up with it all.

None, I always remember to check back so I don't need to subscribe lol...And as far as getting them emailed, I check TCS more than I check my email

I think you're automatically subscribed to any thread where you post. I unchecked the email notification so I don't have to deal with that. However, if I click on User CP, any thread where I've posted that has new messages will show up. If I don't want to follow the thread any more I have to unsubscribe.

I just checked my subscription list and I have 1984 subscribed threads!
Some of them go back to when I first joined.

I never subscribe to them. What a mess my e-mail would be with that!

I think I may have confused some of y'all. What I meant to say was how many threads have you actully posted in - not how many threads you've got email subscriptions to. I unchecked the email alert thing a loooong time ago myself because I was getting bombarded with too many emails.

Sorry for the confusion!

I'm still confused - the statistics show the number of threads you've started and the total number of posts you've made, but not how many different threads you've posted in. Or am I missing something?

7,433 subscriptions. Time I cleaned 'em up -- again! Haven't a clue how many other threads I've posted in, that I'm no longer subscribed to, but it's a lot.

I've got 4239 subscriptions! I like leaving them there because if someone posts in an old thread I like to know.

Go to User CP > click "All subscribed threads" (at the bottom). It will show you how many threads on the upper right hand corner.

Okay, I don't subscribe to any threads - too much clutter. Seeing how many threads I've started or posts I've made is bad enough.

Shouldn't the title of this be how many threads are you subscribed to, not how many you have posted in?

You are automatically subscribed to any thread where you've posted, until you unsubscribe. That doesn't mean you will be notified each time there is a new post in that thread unless you've requested notification.

nope incorrect you have to click to actually subscribe to a thread then you can click to either have a notification sent to you or not

I'm subscribed to 4, 3 of which I have notifications sent to me

If you go to your user control panel and click on "view all subscribed threads" I suspect you're going to see a lot more than 4. I very rarely click to subscribe to a thread, but the number of my subscriptions is up to 1,987 now. I turned off all notifications, so have to click that if I want to be notified of new posts in a specific thread.

Just to clarify, under Options in your User CP, is Default Thread Subscription, where you choose whether to receive notification or not -- AS WELL AS whether to subscribe at all -- the first thing on that menu is "do not subscribe".

I do not see that option on my control page.
