my family and i have been using mangosteen (in the form of XanGo) for various ailments for several years, with much success. my sister and i have used it to fight allergic reactions, my mom has used it to alleviate swelling problems in her hands and legs, several uncles and aunts have used it to bring their cholesterol down, my grandmother used it to fight plantar fasciitis..... etc, etc, etc. as i was chugging some tonight to combat a really agressive allergy attack, it occurred to me that it might be possible to help poor onyx fight his allergy problems with XanGo as well. the poor guy has what i refer to as "troll skin", borne from constantly licking his skin until it's raw because he's allergic to everything under the sun. we used to have him on daily subcutaneous immunotherapy shots, but they were just too expensive and it was too hard to get ahold of him every day to administer them. this fall was really hard on both of us as far as allergies are concerned, and the last couple days of warm weather have brought me misery- it's only february, and i'm concerned about the upcoming pollen season based off this week's performance! sooooooo, to make a long story short, i was wondering if any of you have had any experience with administering mangosteen juice to cats for any reason, and what other input y'all might have. i've done a little research and a cursory search reveals some positive anecdotes and supposed study results showing success using mangosteen in cats, but i trust first-hand accounts more than anonymous "independent website" tales.

thanks!!!!
