A cozy night

Last night I snuggled under a blanket and read in bed while the super high winds howled outside

I had a live fur blanket to keep me warm




I originally had all four on me, Mazy had been on my chest (I have to straight arm my book over my head, but it's worth it) but when I reached for the camera she got off



First she had a bath to wash away her annoyance


and then she snoozed peacefully

After an hour or so my back started to hurt so I had to roll over.

Tolly went off to monitor the window where his deer mouse comes to eat the bird seed at night, but Mazy Jennie and Queen Eva simply adapted themselves.

Mazy curled up in my arms



Jennie found a cozy spot in the crook of my knees


Queen Eva went under the cover to curl up against my stomach

Oh no! It's too cute! I'm melting!

Aw, thanks. They are all such good friends.

I also took some video of Queen Eva playing in the bed (I keep a box of toys there for this purpose) but when I watched the video this morning I discovered that in the backround is my clothes drying rack and on my clothes drying rack is my underwear. So I'm not going to be sharing that video

Awwwww. That's so sweet! A kitty blanket!! I love the last one of Queen Eva. She looks like she's saying, "Hey! Put that back! I'm supposed to be under the blanket!"

Isn't the feeling of our furkids sleeping curled up in the bed with us just the best?

For that little while, all is well with the world.

I have one of those "blankets" on me right now as well, involving Imhotep and LP. Nothing better than kitty blankets!

Live fur blankets are the best! And when they are accompanied by massage, it's even better. And the purring helps keep me warm too.

LOVE having my furry bed warmers... or is it the other way around and I am keeping THEM warm!!
