This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

Absolutely not.
However, food that is causing a UTI can also be causing loose stools (depending on what it is). And medication treating a UTI can also cause loose stools.
Could you possibly give us a little more info?

If your cat is on antibiotics for the UTI, that would be the cause of the loose stool.
A probiotic can be given, or your vet can change the antibiotic, if your kitty is having too much trouble with it.
Call your vet and let vet know what's going on.

Changing foods suddenly will cause diarrhea.
Sounds like there is more than one issue going on here. Your cat needs to see the vet again. A UTI will not get better on it's own she needs to have a urinalysis done and get on antibiotics.
Please take your cat back to the vet.
Let us know how she's doing

Give her a nice watery meal about an hour or two before her appointment and either take up the litter box or put her in her carrier after she eats it, to be sure she has urine in her bladder when you get there.
The other way is, the vet gives you a special kind of non-absorbent litter and you have to keep her shut up with the litter box until she uses it and then get the sample right to the vet. It's really much easier when the vet takes it from the bladder.
