There is an animal shelter near me that does these "Spa Days" once in a while. You can bring your cat/rabbit for grooming and nail trims, and they also do themed photos. Some themes they've had in the past have been baseball, beach scene, Alice in Wonderland, etc... I always wanted to go but usually it was on a day I was busy.
Well since this is the Year of the Rabbit they had a Chinese New Year photo theme. I brought Spot and Harley to get photos because they are generally the most comfortable with going places. Harley is usually very outgoing and Spot is laid back and relaxed. However for some reason at the photo shoot Harley was grumpy and Spot was nervous and kept trying to jump back into the stroller. I was really surprised because Harley is my show kitty and the one who goes to all sort of events and things and is usually fine, and Spot is the blood donor who is very laid back and also often goes to events. I thought maybe it was because it was in a shelter, it's a cageless shelter and the room where they had the photos being taken generally houses rabbits and rabbit-friendly cats so maybe it was the smells that were making them act weird. Either that or it's just because they haven't been getting out much lately since it's winter.
Anyway, since they were not behaving that well I didn't get the best photos and they look a bit grumpy/sulky in them, but I did get a few ok photos:
