I have my first cat, more like the cat has me... I am feeding Blue Buffalo indoor dry cat food. I would like to mix the dry and the wet food. My cat is 8.8 pounds. The dry food bag says to feed from 1/4 to 1/2 cup per day. If I were to do a mix how much wet food should I give and how much dry. I do not want to overfeed because he is an indoor cat. Any food information you can provide would be great!!!!!

. I feed my cats 1/4 cup of dry and 1/2 3 oz. can of wet food twice a day, plus a third very small meal in the late evening, much less than the other two meals. I feed Wellness Core dry, and any grain free canned, they like the varieties. Usually Wellness wet, EVO wet, Solid gold wet, and even Fancy Feast on occasion. They are all in great weight, maybe a tad over, but four of the five are growing kittens, so I usually give them a bit more than Pipsqueak. Congrats on your new kitty
