Morning folks!

A balmy day today here, it is going to be 8 degrees and sunny!

It's DH's payday today, and jean day at work. And we are going for gyros for lunch Best day ever!

Tonight, yoga with a friend. This weekend we are going to get snowboarding lessons, DH and I. Should be interesting

Morning all.

Checking my email right now and I will be stalking my mail box because my uncle is going to be sending me my dads senior yearbook. Im so excited to see it and look thru it. Surprisingly something that should cause such an upheaval in my life is doing nothing but bringing me calmness and happiness. Still a little shocking but mostly awesome. So other than doing some email chatting, laundry day...it never ends LOL!

It's dull and cold here, but i'm finished for the weekend in an hour

Just had someone in to update our website at work only to find out he was going to film bits of us doing our jobs for a short video. I've never ran to the bathroom so quick to re apply the lipstick and fluff my hair up

Morning all!!

Its starting out sunny but windy. One of my recycling containers-the one holding the glass and tin fell over already twice! Winds sustained at 22-26 mph gusts to 49 mph!

Short day at work. Only 9-noon. Then some shopping for my nearly repainted and redecorated office/craft room. Tomorrow we will re-hang the bulletin board and some shelves but I need a good reading lamp. The painted dresser turned out really well and the ladder style bookcase fits the spot I bought it for just right!

Have to do a bit of grocery shopping as well. I would like to check out a new pizza place in a nearby town sometime this weekend too.

Good Morning Cat Lovers. Another sunny day in Chicago and temps are soaring, upper forties, woo-hoo!!!

Busy day, cleaning, grooming my cats, shelter volunteer, walk some dogs for some clients, and then a belated Valentine's dinner with hubby!!!!! See he is making up for it

Morning!

Very cloudy, but oh so warm! A bit of snow tomorrow, followed by an icy mix on Sunday, then more snow on Tuesday. February is not done with us yet.

Changed the bedsheets and threw them into the washer. Made a hot milk sponge cake to take up to Mom's tonight. Just had a quick shower and am headed in town to the butcher for 2 pounds of liver. I have to hit the library and the dry cleaner, too.

Liver and onions tonight! My sister and I just love liver and onions. I'm making a stuffed pork chop for my BIL and we're having a potato gratin to go with. My sister is bringing a salad.

So after my errands, I'll come home and frost the sponge cake with French Silk Frosting. And then, I think Mollipop and I will take some of my aunt's pictures and go to Mom's for the afternoon, too.

its a quiet friday...Working this afternoon and this morning I am cleaning up the apartment. I think my oldest friends are coming over tonight for dinner and video games.

If not it will just be me the kitties and my GRE review book. I need to relearn a ton of math since my master's didn't require the GRE test.

Also...tomorrow I am helping my friend find a dress for a black tie dinner and sunday is a study day and I am going to finish my applications to school I'm trying for a really hard program that accepts only 2 or 3 applicants a year.

I just saw northern lights!! Unfortunately my camera wouldn't capture them. Wrong settings, bad photographer or crappy camera for this purpose.
Freezing here again, -25C, clear sky and moon shining very brightly. Beautiful.

I didn't do anything today. It was too cold to make me want to leave the house, and I was too lazy to start any big indoor projects.. Maybe tomorrow I'll have more energy and motivation to actually get something done or go out. (Oops, it's already 'tomorrow' here..2am.)
