Marinated cat verdict

Today the judge is going to hand down the verdict in a non jury trial for the guy that had his cat marinating in his trunk.

Lets get those TCS vibes going to give this "person" the maximum. I believe I heard it's a year in jail.

I hope he gets what's coming to him. I will update when the verdict comes in.

Not sure I even want to know what that means, but if its intentional animal abuse.... max-max-max.

I remember this I hope the judge is a cat lover and gives this scum bag everything he can

Too bad the punishment can't fit the crime - be interesting to see how HE would marinate in the trunk of a car!

Yea, what a sicko. FYI, last year some guy had a cat in his trunk marinating in onions, peppers and oils. Said he was going to eat the cat because it was "mean" to him. He was stopped for a traffic infraction and the cops heard something in the trunk.

Yea, me too. I hope the judge is a long time animal lover. the cat was readopted and is living in a loving home now. He is a real pretty black and white kitty.

Ok, we can all rest assured that justice, again, for the animals is non existant. He was found not guilty. Says the cat got into the marinade and he was taking it to get cleaned.

I am so angry. Will it ever change? Ever?

The laws always favor the criminal.

Yes it does.

People are up in arms. The judge, judge marshall, I won't capitalize his name says the statute is "too broad". huh????

If this isn't animal cruelty, what, may I ask, is?
Yeah right.

It is totally believable that the cat got into the marinade... and totally acceptable (if this part was true, 99% sure it isn't) that he put it in his TRUNK to take it to get "cleaned." Sounds like taking pants to the dry cleaners, I have never heard of it worded that way.

Fricken stupid people, why can't they just fall off of the face of the earth? WHY?!

The man told reporters a totally different story.

Gary Korkuc, 51, told a Buffalo TV station the cat, who shelter officials say is a neutered male, had miscarried and he was taking him back to the shelter when police stopped him on a traffic violation earlier this week.

"It had miscarried and that was its blood and I was taking it back over to ASPCA when they stopped me," he said
I just don't get it.

Thank God that Oliver has a good home now.

He told the cops who stopped him that his cat was "selfish" and he was going to roast it.

He has a different story for different people.
