my boyfriend has a friend, jb, that comes over almost every night. jericho loves playing with him and will occasionally snuggle up. now he has started this weird thing with jb's head. he will grasp his head in his paws, and then lick and chew on his hair and rub his face on jb's hair repeatedly..anyone know why or have you ever seen this before!? so weird to me..but hilarious as well

Actually, Jericho is acting quite normal with his new buddy jb. It's a cat's way of playing and bonding with another.

I agree --- play, bonding... very sweet!!! Archie will do that to me sometimes!! Only it's quite a shock when a 16 lb cat POUNCES on your head when you are laying down!

Too cute! Holland will do that sometimes, usually at night when I'm sleeping. Sometimes I wake up to a cat on my head licking my hair... She will "grab" me with her paws and hold my head, usually very gently but sometimes a little too much claw.

Aw, it's just typical cat play. So cute and sweet.

I don't know...may be something about the shampoo or hair products that JB uses. Blue has always liked my mom's hair (he doesn't do this to anyone but her). When she visits, if she sits on the couch, he will get behind her and kneed her head...then he sucks her hair. It is a little gross the way he does it. LOL

well im happy to hear this is normal stuff because we were starting to think he was just nuts hahaah
