I thought that I should share some photos of my other fur babies (aka the woofers).

This is Sadie. She's a 4 year old miniature black and tan broken coated longhair dachshund (that's a mouthful!). I got her from a puppymill when I was in college, I didn't know the difference between breeders then and thought that getting a purebred dog was a purebred no matter where you got it from. I didn't realize that paying the extra $400 to get her from a reputable breeder would have probably saved me thousands in the long run but she is my special needs baby and I love her. She has epilepsy and has had it since she was about 5 months old, however she has been seizure free for almost a year now! She's the alpha and bosses everyone else around, even though she's the smallest. She also has chronic UTIs and recently had surgery to remove some bladder stones.

This is Fynn. He's a 2 year old small standard chocolate and tan brindle broken coated longhair working dachshund. He has the perfect dachshund temperament - stubborn, standoffish and extremely loyal. His only medical problem is an allergy to duck, lol.

Next up is Lucy, she's a year and a half old and lives with my friend in Thunder Bay. I co own her with my friend. She's a small standard (but bigger than Fynn) black and tan longhair. Her breeder is well known and recently had a dog at Westminster. She has such a sweet personality but doesn't have the drives that Fynn has. We have plans to breed Lucy and Fynn together to start our line of working capable show quality dachshunds. We have high hopes for this litter but also realize that it will be quite a journey meshing the two types together and gaining acceptance from the show community.

Also here's a couple of pictures of Leiki

And a few of our old cat Stan, RIP
