Morning folks!

Well, DH forgot about Valentines Day. So when I picked him up from work, and gave him his card, he said "can we go to the store?" We haven't even been married two years! Ugh.

So our Valentines wasn't very romantic, but oh well I guess.

I am off to work in a bit, and then tonight I need to go to the gym and study some.

Morning all.

Just another day around here. Im ready for the snow to melt so we can bring the rocks back onto the driveway and I want the ice GONE! Our driveway will be either flooded or frozen till everything finally melts and thaws out.

Well today is payday for both Dana and I and Dana got his first pay with his raise! Those who say money can't buy happiness are full of it. I paid lots of bills, and after work we need to go stock up on some groceries.

Morning All!!

The sun is shining and our February thaw will continue!

Must have eaten something last night that hasn't agreed with my digestive tract. Still have an upset stomach. Grrrr.....there goes my plans to go to the gym this morning.
I was up early to 4:20 am! So I got alot done already today.

So work, meeting a lady from Freecycle to had off her request,bank then home.
I applied coat #2 to the dresser I'm re-doing. Its Home Depot's Behr "polished leather".
Have new drawer knobs too. Slowly getting that room put together!

Morning!

DH surprised me last night by making dinner! It was just burgers and a nice tossed salad. But let me say that this man makes the absolute best burgers around! What a nice surprise!

Have another mtg right after work today. Threw a pork roast in the crock pot this morning along with apple juice, rosemary and dried cherries. DH can make couscous and when I get home, I will make the sauce and green beans. Should be a good dinner.

DH is leaving for Virginia on Thursday morning
on union business. He'll be home on Sunday. He always takes cookies with him .... last night I baked Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk cookies for him. He'll like those.

Well, Valentines Day was a flop.... . But I did cook a yummy meatloaf and that chocolate chip cookies. DH said he would make it up to me over the weekend, a nice dinner out.

Today, volunteer at the cat shelter. But, first, grooming by furbabies, shedding is starting. Have a great day all

We don't do valentines day or many other holidays for that matter. We just get each other things or do things when the mood strikes. As for today..Off to the shelter to adopt a little tiger female we saw when we were there getting Jipson on Caturday. It was a toss up on which one to get, with Jip winning the toss. But on the way home we talked it over and decided that two won't be much of a problem. Fortunately they were both in the same play room at the shelter and know each other so thats a bonus. Will update when more info becomes available.

Morning, I've been up since about 5:30AM, which is not cool. BF left for Pittsburgh til Thursday, and I just couldn't get back to sleep, thanks to Miss Dottie. That cat, I tell ya, she's supposedly about 9 years old, but she's more like a kitten than Genever who's 3!

Anyway, I just finished my 2nd cup of coffee and I think I might make more. My eyes are heavy.

Plans for today.. cat food shopping, payroll homework, cleaning, or maybe i'll put off cleaning until tomorrow so it's more clean still when my mom gets here tomorrow night.. yeah, not much going on, then class tonight. I'm tired, it's going to be hard to stay awake tonight.

Wharfrat- congrats on your new additions!!

Afternoon Everyone

Today has been pretty nice so far; I'm also loving that our weather has warmed up a little today! This morning Jack and I took both of the dogs for a car ride on our way to get breakfast (We had free coupons for chick-fil-a's new spicy chicken biscuits! Ya! Free breakfast was awesome.) When we got back to my apartment, some old "Sex and the City" reruns were on, so being the awesome boyfriend he is, he agreed to let me watch them while we ate our food After that he left to go fly and my sister Kimmy came over for a while. She took Ranger and I to run a few errands while Macy hung out at home and took a nap. While I was in the local petstore with Ranger and my sister, the manager (he's a friend) came out and gave me two really nice dog bones to take home for Macy and Ranger on the house- how sweet is that?! (The staff there have been really great about letting Ranger prepare for his therapy work there and helping socialize Macy- love that store!) After we left there, we went to another store to pick up some necessities and then we called it an afternoon.

I think tonight I'm just going to relax and enjoy a night in with the furbabies- order some pizza and just veg out a little bit
