Pine pellet users

Hi,
I would like to try to switch my 8 mth. male kitten over to the Breeze cat box
but I thought I would move to pine pellets first.
Do you use a standard box or do I need sifting box?

I don't know about what kind of box you need, but definitely do a test before you switch over completely. I put the pine litter in one box and left the others with the clumping litter the cats had been using. The first day it was out somebody peed in the pine litter. After that it sat there for an entire month untouched. Not even little cat prints showing that somebody had walked through it.

I have regular boxes but have to "sift" them by scooper - looking to figure out how to make a sifter that I can lift out.

When we switched to wood stove pellets, we put a cup of pellets in the regular litter and as we scooped it out, more pellets were added. In about 2 weeks the litter pans were pellets only and the cats used them fine.

I won't go back to any kind of litter now - love the wood stove pellets.

You can get a scooper from Feline Pine free. I just bought a big bag
and there was a preprinted info.on bag about getting 1 free wide scooper
for 50 points which is what what was on the bag. Visit:WWW.felinepine.com
or pay 3.49 from website and they sell a litter SELF - CLEANING LITTER BOX
for $21.99 (plus shipping & handling) Discounts for orders of 2 or more
I know you could probably also make one yourself with a dremmel tool
or drill, but I might just buy either the feline box or the breeze box.
I use the breeze box for my other cat but I use the feline pine pellets in it.
She requires just a handful of cat litter in it and I just put fresh pine pellets in it every week. Cheap and easy. My kitten does not use her litter box but
I want him to used the pellets or breeze box. I have added pellets to his litter before. I want to get off the scoop litter. Messy and too expensive.
