Daily Thread HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

Morning!

Dana and I don't get paid until tomorrow, so we're not really celebrating Valentine's today, but we're going away next weekend, so that'll be our romantic time.

My brother is coming over later to borrow a carrier. His gf's cat has to go to the vet as she has been peeing everywhere and they saw blood in it. Poor little thing...

Not much will be happening this evening. I need a good workout and we'll be watching the newest Spartacus episode.

Happy Valentines Day to YOU. I am going to surprise DH with a home cooked dinner and make a HUGE chocolate chip frosted cookie. Cuddling with the furbabies is on the list toooo

Morning.

Not a good start today. Almost overslept, the computer broke down and I spent 2 hrs on the phone with HP only to have to do a complete system reboot. The only good thing, I managed to save all my pictures before the reboot. Im not a happy camper today, but atleast I have cake for after tonights romantic dinner. Oh and today is the 2 yr anniversary for Franklins Gotcha Day and Gigis 2nd birthday. Busy busy day!!!

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. It is cold here today, so just a day for staying in and catching up on the housework. My hubby took me shopping on Friday because he had some busy work to do today. Hope everyone gets a special hug from someone they love today.

I completely forgot it was anywhere near Valentine's Day until they gave us heart-shaped donuts at my finance seminar this weekend .

Not a good day. It's way too cold, -20C and will be getting colder. And I don't have anyone special to spend this day with.
And apparently a good friend of mine is mad at me and I'm not quite sure why. Seems like she's mad about a situation where she did and said things, and I responded, and she didn't get over it. She's very temperamental person and gets mad without a proper reason every now and then, but apparently she got offended when I finally told her that her behavior was a bit over the top.. I hope we can settle this without too much drama, I have bigger things to worry about atm.. I'm just confused and sad today, I hope the rest of you are having a better day.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's not really one Gary and I celebrate - we're in love and show it all year long. But it's a fun day! We trapped a cat this morning, and are just doing some cleaning around the place today. Kitties will be going on their "dates" tonight.

Morning, happy Valentine's day.. it's kind of cloudy, with the sun poking rhrough from time to time, and it's the start of a very cool week. I feel so bad that last week was really warm in the 70s and even 80ish on Saturday, and my mom from PA is coming to escape winter on Wednesday night, but it's going to be 50s-60s here and possible rain! Go figure...

So, it's just kind of just another Hallmark Holiday today really. I kinda felt bad though, because on Saturday, my BF said instead of buying me flowers that are overpriced for the holiday and that die in a few days anyway, he wanted to buy me a similarly priced plant from the local nursery, maybe a cherry tree or something like that that will last. I thought that was really sweet! I felt bad because then I said I didn't plan on getting him anything! But I did get him a card, and when I got up this morning, after he left for work, I saw 2 cards from him, or I guess one from him and one from the cats since one is addressed "Mum". That was nice. No real plans that I'm aware of for today, but I am going to make a dinner, maybe a light pasta (if that's possible!!) with lots of veggies in it, so we can have a nice dinner together before I head to school tonight. I'll try to find a nice little cake or cupcakes to have after I get back from school then maybe.

NorthernGlow, sorry to hear you're having friend issues, especially on the Day of Friends! I've found that sometimes certain people are just not worth the effort to deal with like that. But I hope you can work out something without too much drama and hassle..

I have a meeting right after work, then we have a few groceries to grab. And it's an exercise night, too, so it's busy.

Northern Glow, I am sorry about the situation with your friend. But if you have to treat her with kid gloves and walk on eggshells when you're with her? It's not worth it. It's just not worth it. I hope you can get it resolved. Good luck!

Happy Valentine's Day! It's been a hectic one for me, but DH has made up for it in his non-romantic way by taking care of a few things I've wanted done around here. He replaced the shower head, got and installed a new thermostat for my side of the waterbed (we have separate controls) and even bought a new fitted sheet (peach, which doesn't match any of the duvet covers except the white ones, but it's the thought that counts!).

I love your siggy with your cat couples! Just noticed it now, and probably wouldn't have really looked at it but I saw that cute Mister-face!! He's been around this morning, but he wandered off again, I guess he's on his way to the party, if he's not already there!!

DarkMavis & Winchester: I know you're both right. Even though we did 'settle' things yesterday, I feel even worse. I don't think I'm the one who needed to apologize to her, but I did because she asked. She is quite immature sometimes, and if this kind of issues keep happening, I will have to step out of her life.
