Yeah, that sounds like me too.

It was Tiny and Thufir's birthday yesterday, so they got a big can of tuna in the afternoon, but today they have to go back on their regular diet.

The hubby and I decided not to buy each other presents. He usually gets me flowers but Starbuck eat them. Also we have a new kitty named Sonny that we adopted this summer in honor of Claude who passed away. Sonny also likes to get into things and would probably eat flowers too but has not had the chance to yet. Sonny is a pretty big cat and could jump on anything in my house he wants to. I can put flowers up where Starbuck can not get to them but Sonny would.

The hubby and I are going into Chicago to see Les Misrables tomorrow night and we are having dinner at the Village Resturant at Italian Village before the show. We were going to do a dinner for ourselves this weekend but I worked Saturday and on Sunday my dad made reservations at nice restaurant for my Mom's B-day so we did not have time to plan our weekend dinner. I am looking forward to tomorrow night. Tonight will just be a normal week night for us.

Besides flowers and candy Russ gave me this set of earrings and ring which is topaz, my birthstone. This pic doesn't do it justice at all, they are very pretty.

I gave him that old standby, a pair of undershorts with red hearts all over them We will also be going out to dinner a little later.

I don't know why some of my pics come out terrible, don't know if it's me or the camera, I always use the flash but some do come out dark.

I finally convinced Dave that we spend too much on junk we don't need, so we gave each other a card; he got me half a dozen roses and a cute little "Love Hug" creature to sit on my desk. I got him (of all things) a Sirius Black wanted poster. (if you're not a Harry Potter fan, I guess you have no idea what I'm talking about )

I had a good Valentines yesterday. Jack was a sweetheart! We had a nice low-key night in since I wasn't feeling well (thankfully we stayed in and I could just wear my pajamas lol). It was also the 1yr anniversary of my Nannie's viewing before her funeral last year- so I was honestly missing my Nannie a lot yesterday. Jack was sweet and "cooked" (heated up, lol) dinner for us when he came over to my apartment last night. It was funny watching him attempt to navigate my kitchen; very sweet and thoughtful!). I had a bad morning at the cardiologist yesterday, so he planned a nice night in with dinner and surprised me with 2 red roses in honor of our second Valentines day together, the first season of "Modern Family" on DVD and some chocolate. It was very lovely and thoughtful
