Presenting SueEllen and her new healthy family. She had 6 kittens total. Three brown tabbies, one blue tabby, one possible blue patched and a blue and white. My neighbor thinks they're all boys but that would mean the blue patched would be a chimera, which isn't likely. I think it's a girl.

Anyway, here they are.:

On this one, you can see the couple of kittens which will for sure be wired. They look wavy and they dried really fast after being born:

One close up:

And another. This was the first born:

Anyone want to join the wonderful world of wirehairs???
LOL

How sweet!! Those little ones are just too cute! Mom's not too bad looking herself either.

So some will NOT be wirehairs? That's interesting.

Thank you for sharing with us.

Yes, only about 40% of them wire. My Sheba was a "smoothie." The facial features (flattish, big eyes) are present in smooth or wired versions and the purrsonality (clowns) is also the same.

Thanks for the comments. Apparently all are still doing well. The momcat is an excellent mother.

They aren't my cats, Golden Kitty. I'm purely a pet lover, and love the two wires I have. These are a neighbor's cats, and I just happened to witness part of the births.

I'm a "wire lover." I also have a part schnauzer doggie--love the scruffy whiskers. My dh even has "wirehair." LOL
