Nothing's ever easy in a multi-cat household.
I'm seeking new ideas to keep Lola busy. Any ideas?
We rotate a wide variety of toys, play w/ the wand toy 2x/day (6 different wand toys rotated). We don't play laser light might as she gets fixated on it. Despite being incessantly hungry, she's not food motivated. Won't "hunt" for hidden food/treats, nor does she 'get' treat balls. There are bird feeders outside two different windows & we play some of her favorite movies for her to watch on TV.
The other cats hate her. She's annoying, always trying to play w/ them. They used to have a safe haven up high, she couldn't get up/on things - but now she's figured out how. I keep creating new hide-outs for them & she figures them out quickly! She spends much more of her time awake than most "normal" cats - she rarely sleeps I swear! When she's awake she's always moving, oftentimes moving after other cats to get them to wake up & play!
Another companion for her is utterly out of the question, I have about a dozen more cats in my house than I should. (OK I have a dozen cats in my house.) Gumby is 4 months younger than Lola, yet vastly more mature. Now that we've got her dose of Pheno worked out, she's not so "drugged up" acting....although I think the other cats preferred her when she was!
