I attended my first cat show today. I thought you guys might like to see some pix that I took while I was there.

loved the smoky color on this persian

ragdolls on the right

oriental..wow, amazing in person. they are so unique

singapura

abyssinian

#201 was such a little heartbreaker

bengal

the coat on this cat was sooo neat--it was curly. i forget, something with a rex in the name..is it devon rex? i'm tired and not very good at this

birman kittens

little guy in the front kept flirtin with me

he said "take me home" but i was strong..breeder urged me to think about it-oh, so tempting as you can see

And rows upon rows of other cats..I was kinda just walking around with my jaw on the floor at all the beautiful kitties. It was definitely a great experience!!

Thanks! Yep that little Birman kitten certainly was charming
Do you know that OH said to me last night before bed..."We can go againt tomorrow if you like. I found it all quite interesting" and then while we were at a show we were looking as the smaller breeds were judged and he says "Well if they are that small it really wouldn't be any trouble to add someone like that to the house.." This coming from the guy who proudly proclaims he is a dog person, you could have knocked me over with a feather I was so shocked
I found myself gravitating toward the Abyssinians, myself

I just feel bad they are in cages

Awww those cats are beautiful. I have only been to one cat show and that was in New York many years ago but I will never forget it. Thanks for sharing the pics.

I love cat shows as well! There is only one even remotely close around here though, always in the summer in Fredericton, a little over an hour away. We usually make the trip though. So many gorgeous kitties!

For a cat show, cages would be the only safe place for them to be.

I love cat shows and go to 2 a year. It's the only time I get to see unique breeds. The last one I went to I almost bought 2 older female Maine Coon sisters for $100.00 each. I really wish now I had since I became catless shortly after that.

Mine definitely prefer to stay in the cage as much as possible.

Nat have you ever met a cat? I know my cats love nothing more then to be curled up in the tightest, smallest box or space they can find

I loved the pics. Thanks for sharing!

Oh no, I'm highly allergic to adorableness! *gasps for air*

I looked everywhere for Singapura breeders in the Houston/Dallas area to no avail. Really wanted two of those itty bitty kitties.
