Oh, Evie

Thread Starter
I've been giving foster kitty Evie some closely supervised time out of the spare room the past week. She's still pretty tense around my crew, but better than when I fostered her in the fall, so her time at the rescue was definitely beneficial.

She literally moved me to tears at one point this morning, though. I was on the couch drinking my coffee and cuddling with Claire, when I looked down and saw Evie right my feet. She was gazing up at me adoringly with those beautiful, soulful eyes. I realized how much I love that little cat and it made me even more determined to help her find that special person for her to trust and love. Just like with so many of my other fosters, I wish it could be me but, as you guys know, that's just not possible for various reasons.

Sorry to post so much about Evie. It's just that she's become so special to me and I want so badly to find her someone to love (and sing to her and tell her she's their baby doll).

It sounds like she adores you. I hope you find her a wonderful home. She deserves it.

awwwww I know that feeling all too well, in fact that's the reason I know I would be the most horrible failure at being a foster Adding my mega-vibes for Evie to find her special person

Ramping up those vibes that Evie finds her so very special person soon!

You are doing so good with Evie, I hope she finds a home very soon

Isn't that so wonderful?? Magilla did that yesterday when I was sitting on the couch doing my morning postings. She didn't sit at my feet though, but was a couple feet off to the side just watching me and giving me that "I love you" look. It did bring a happy tear. I sure hope Evie finds her person for life soon. You are a great foster meowmy to sweet Evie

You are doing such a great thing for her, though. You're teaching her to trust humans and love to be loved. I'm praying for just the right special person to come along and find Evie. She's a special girl.

I absolutely know how you feel! I feel very much the same way about our foster, Macy. She has been with us so long, but she is such a special cat, and I know there is an amazing home for her out there somewhere.

Sending the beautiful Evie lots of vibes!

Xander is adding his own special kitty vibes that his girl Evie finds her own forever home soon. He knows how hard it is to leave Eileen though

He just hopes Evie's future meowmy will let him keep in touch with his new girlfriend!

Thanks, guys. I'm really grateful for all the encouragement and vibes for sweet little Evie.

It's been a big boost to her confidence to have a big, handsome, fluffy fellow like Xander as her Valentine and she hopes when she gets adopted that they can stay in touch too.

I'm thinking it's just about time to remind the director of the rescue again about the spring newsletter in which we're going run Evie's "interview," along with an article featuring resources/advice for people facing the possibility of having to give up their pets.

Meanwhile, please keeps the vibes coming. Thanks!

Just wanted to request more adoption vibes for Evie. With Zach, who was abandoned in my feral colony, and Ricky and Merlin, senior kitties left behind by a neighbor when she moved, all adopted, my focus is now on getting Evie into a home of her own too.

She's such a cute, funny, spunky, affectionate little thing. Whoever adopts Evie will be charmed by her chirpy meow and playful obsession with cat nip mice and rewarded looks of adoration and love as she snuggles close (or tries to steal your chair )

Please keep the vibes coming for Evie (aka Baby Doll).

I wish that was possibility, but I'm at my limit, plus Evie needs to be an only kitty and that wouldn't be the case here.
