Question of the Day - Wed 02/09

Well, this is delayed as usual. I have been working long hours and had to be there an hour earlier. Didn't remember until this afternoon.

Well, here is my question.....

What is you most favorite dessert?

I haven't had my favorite dessert in a long, long time since it is hard to find here. But my favorite is boysenberry pie. When I was about 18 - 24 months old, my dad gave me a bite of boysenberry pie. I was, and still am to a point, a picky eater. He basically had to force me to take a bite. He told me later, that he then ignored my open mouth every time he took a bite. He was stunned when I said my very first sentence, "Pie, Dada, pie!" I have loved it since that time.

Chocolate Cake!... ....

Ice cream.

Sticky toffee pudding with ice cream

A white coconut layer cake with seven-minute frosting, covered in shreds of toasted coconut. It used to be my birthday cake. And my sister's birthday cake. And my brother's birthday cake. (My mom used to make a lot of white coconut cakes!) Between my sister, my brother and me, we could eat an entire cake! And probably have (more than once)......

Now it's my job to make the coconut cake for the birthdays.

Key lime pie.

Red velvet cake, chocolate cake, chocolate cheesecake, chocolate truffles, and I love freshly made chocolate chunk cookies with lots of chocolate chunks in them

Crème BrûlÃ[emoji]169[/emoji]e.

Every now and then we go out to a fancy restaurant and they often do a variation on it for dessert, last time I had a coconut crème brûlÃ[emoji]169[/emoji]e with pineapple puree, really good. I've tried to copy it at home but I'm having trouble with the pineapple bit. Well, I'm no Michelin star chef

Anything that doesn't have bloated dog tic.........er raisins in it.
