Sharing a Sunbeam

I had to give Dorothy her thyroid pill, and this is what I found! Both kitties on the chair, trying to catch some rays.



Not sure if it was Genever who squished herself in there, or if Dorothy jumped up and squished Genever, but she doesn't look too comfy. But that's the power of a sun patch, and my G-cat is a sun worshipper.

Yeah, we got her about 2.5 weeks ago. I'm so glad they are getting along so well so soon!!

I love that first picture!! On the surface it looks like one of them jumped up and crowded the other one out a bit... But look at those faces. They seem more to me like they can't believe you caught them cuddling and sharing a sunbeam!! They're trying to figure out how to save face...

Haha, you're right, it does look like that!

I do find that usually, if one cat is on the chair, and the other jumps up and gets too close, there's a little spat and someone jumps off. But sometimes they share, like yesterday.

They're so cute together! Glad it's working out between them.

They are both beautiful. The sunbeam is so powerful, it can make friends out of anybody!
