Hi all, I know about a month ago I posted pictures and a short story about Rudy and how well he was doing for a Kitty 16 years old but shortly after that Rudy became very ill. After trying a few different things it became obvious that Rudy would not be able to recover from this. He went to sleep today very peacefully. Our Vet did do an exam on him and found a large growth in his abdomen. We didn't want him to suffer so we did what was best for him.

Rudy was a very loving kitty that brought a smile to everyone he ever met. He was one of those "Happy Cats" always purring, rubbing and looking for a lap to cuddle on. We will miss him greatly, he really touched our lives.

What a beautiful boy!! I am so sorry for you losing him. I always say, We give cats gifts their whole life through, and the hardest gift to give them is the last one. RIP Rudy

What a dear boy...I am so sorry. My cat Spacy also had a mass in his tummy and he was only 6.

But I can see Rudy never wanted for anything. He was obviously very loved by his family.

I'm so sorry you lost your beautiful boy. I'd been wondering about him since you posted that he wasn't doing well, but never got back to the thread to ask.

Thank you everyone. Rudy is really missed. I have 3 other cats and yet there is such an emptiness to our home.

I remember Rudy. Such a beautiful, sweet boy. You gave him such a wonderful, safe and happy life. RIP Rudy boy!! The fact that he shared your life for 16 years is a testament to the kind of person you are.

I am so sorry that you lost your beautiful boy, Rudy. I understand how you miss him, though you have other cats. Each is unique and takes a certain cat specific piece of our hearts. He'll always have that piece of your heart, and your heart will always have him.
