OMG, I just had the MOST AMAZING COOKIE EVER.

It's by The Ginger People, and it's called a cocoa snap. It is a ginger snap (really light and crumbly, with pieces of crystallized ginger!) dipped in the most amazing dark chocolate.

Product Description
Only available during the colder months, our delectable Cocoa Snaps are made from our power-packed little ginger snaps and our family-favorite dark chocolate.

Ingredients
Made and dipped in California using all natural ingredients, including a proprietary blend of cacao beans from Colombia and West Africa made by Guittard; a 4th generation California chocolate company founded in 1868 by Etienne Guittard, a French immigrant.

Dark chocolate (sugar, cocoa mass [processed with alkali], cocoa butter, butter oil, soy lecithin, pure vanilla), unbleached enriched flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin, mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), cane sugar, butter, ground ginger, candied ginger (ginger, sugar), molasses, eggs, ginger juice, spices, baking soda, salt, tapioca syrup, tapioca dextrin, confectioner's glaze. Contains wheat, eggs, milk & soy. All natural.

They have very few calories for the amount of flavor (IMO), and just a couple of cookies is incredibly satisfying.

I am in heaven!

Love them! But I love the plain hard crunchy kind. Especially when dipped into hot coffee!!!

I've never made them, but a friend of mine
used to, and they were the absolute best!!

Yes, I do like ginger snaps. When I was little there was a company that sold ginger snaps in a box with a kitty face on it. Well, a cookie with child art on it (i.e., whiskers, ears to resemble a cat face)

I would always buy this whenever I saw it because of the taste and the kitty face on the box.

I like ginger bread alot. It's a weakness of mine.

I've never even seen them with chocolate on before! But I think part of what's so yummy about these is the ginger snap under the chocolate. I've had very "gingery" ginger snaps before - but never with pieces of candied ginger in them. They ones I've had before are just hard and all one texture. Of course -they are supposed to "snap" right?
