Well that's a tough one. Pineapple is good on pizza but not my favorite. I like it but don't L O V E it! So I guess I don't fit in the actual poll!

I hate fruit with my meat and sweet with my meat at any time. Period.

I don't normally like warm fruit, but I LOVE pineapple on my pizza -- especially with pepperoni. Must be the contrasting flavors, sweet & spicy, that make it mmm mmm good.

Could anyone tell me perhaps why I have a sudden terrible craving for PIZZA now ? 'Course, that beats the craving for Mexican food that one of my clerks flung on me yesterday, when all I had for lunch was homemade vegetable soup !

My favourite kind of pizza for ordering is either back bacon and pineapple, or ham and pineapple. I used to hate pineapple on a pizza, but that was long ago. I make a pretty good pizza at home with black forest ham and pineapple, and my own crust as well. I'm very generous with the meat and cheese though.

For it to be good, you have to have some nice salty ham or back bacon on the pizza, (or pepperoni for some people). To me, it works the same way lettuce does on a good burger or sandwich. It provides kind of a refreshing taste and texture that balances out each delicious bite. Normally, I don't like fruit with meat either.

I hate pineapple on my pizza. There's something about the combination of the cheese and the pinapple that really grosses me out.
