Morning peeps!

Welp, it's Monday. But it's only -2 outside which is amazingly mild for this time of year. I am loving this warm snap. I might get a car wash, our car looks like it's the colour 'salt'.

I am off to work in a bit. Tonight I think we are visiting DH's grandma.

You all have a great day!

Morning all!

We had a great weekend, so I'm feeling pretty good this Monday morning.
We have some chores to do this evening, and I have to workout, but otherwise there isn't much happening. We're supposed to get MORE snow tomorrow. Not sure where we're going to put it.

Morning All,

Tired from the big game yesterday. Temps are to plummet and be cold until Friday. -8F tomorrow night. And some wind of course and a bit of snow.

Not much else going on.

Have a good one!

Morning!

While DH watched the game last night, I grabbed a quick shower, did my nails and went to bed to watch some tv. The cats joined me, so it was a nice cuddling night. DH was happy b/c the Packers won. He's not really a Packers fan, but he doesn't like the Steelers, so it was OK. His Eagles weren't involved, so he wasn't diehard.

Grocery night tonight and that's pretty much it.

Walking should be so nice today! Close to 40 degrees, but then 2-3 inches of snow tonight, followed by another cold blast. I'm so ready for spring!

Enjoy!

It's snowing lightly and overcast but not bad for a winter day.

I'm off to a written test and perhaps an interview to follow for a part-time job for Statscan so that's exciting. It's amazing how much less tense one is when getting the job is not imperative. It would be nice to get it but no big deal if I don't. I just want to make a little extra money until my OAS kicks in when I turn 65 in December.

Back into the deepfreeze here and another few inches of snow to deal with. A few inches may not seem like much but here, it blows around and compacts into deep, rock hard drifts that are horrible to break through. Haven't been off the yard in two weeks because of bad highways and drifting snow.

Trouts mom - you are better doing the car wash thing when it is cold - that way, you do the wash, pull out, leave the car running and open the doors, hood and trunk and the water will freeze then the resulting ice will shatter when you close all back up

Morning... I felt so awful today, I'm not sure why. Definitely not too much beer yesterday at the Superbowl party, but maybe it was too much food. Yeah, that's probably it.
Ugh. Oh well, today I had nothing planned anyway except major studying for accounting for my test tonight. I am nervous!

It is currently 71, going up to 73 today, nice! But I don't have time to play in the garden outside.. And I see tomorrow it's only going up to 63. Boo. I hope it's in the 70s when my mom visits from wintery Pennsylvania next week! But i guess even if it's only in the 60s, it will still be a nice change from ice.

Anyway, I've gotta hit the books. Have a good day!
