Yes well it came as a chock when our girl Tjejen at year 6, only been with us for about 1 1/2 month died in our own home under the stairs.
It happen so very fast, something was so wrong with her, but it didn't show when we got her.
She was shy and all that at first, but so very loving during the night.. took almost 2 weeks for her to come out but she did.
We were kids free and we were not home so much during the days last weekend, 28th, 29th and 30th, 30th was the Sunday when the kids came home and I noticed that Tjejen were not on my as she has been... didn't thought much of it as cats can be like that, want to be on their own a bit... but Tuesday night toward Wednesday morning I saw on her that something was so wrong , she could not walk properly and she didn't eat, and I just saw she have lost weight so much, just in about 4-5 days.. really odd, which the first Vet I spoke to said that cant be right... well... its not like the Cat will tell me when something starts to be wrong...
As I called in the middle of the night to the emergency to try to get some ideas and answers, but the hospital was about 1 1/2 hour away and my hubba works nights so had no car with 4 kids at home... sounds like I am trying to get out with excuses but I feel so bad about this, and have had cats for so long feels I should have seen it, but my own vet said even if I had come in during the weekend it probably would have been to late as she died so soon after.
She had the same deformed as my cat before, a bone sticking out in front of her front legs and the vet said it do happens this deformed happens and it could have been pushing toward her inner organs.
I looked at her when she was in the sofa... she look at me with eyes saying "please..." its killing me to think about it.. my girl was begging... and there was nothing I could do about it....
RIP Tjejen!
Love you...
