It was Rex, but oh what PROGRESS this is!!! I just about cried with JOY. Rex has eaten no wet food and has been eating Blue's Purina Senior food. That is not ideal, but it is necessary right now for Blue who is having a much harder time with this than Rex.

Praise GOD! I needed this tonight. I really did.

Absolutely! And I just wanted to thank you for all of your kindness since I came here. You have been so sweet and supportive. Many here have. I couldn't have made it through this last few weeks without you all! Thank you!!

Hurray! That feeling of joy over a good poo I know well!!! FWIW, my boy can eat very small amounts of wet food - more and his poo gets very very soft, toward diarrhea. I wish he could eat wet as he had struvite crystals, but...thank God for Hills CD in both forms.

Let's hope you continue to get good news on all fronts.

That is good, I was hoping if you were able to stick to one food for a bit things would improve. Keep working on getting it under control then slowly, very slowly add just a few pieces of the food you want him on at a time. I have to start with just 4-5 pieces of food a day for a few days then add more every few days. It is a pain but then so is what you have been going through.

At least now you are armed with the information you need if he relapses and needs testing. Good luck, I really hope he continues to do well, that is good news.

Rex had another formed stool this morning. But Blue is not eating by himself at all. I am having to syringe feed him wet food. My poor old baby!
