Well hi there,

I already got some great advice in the Behaviour forum last night so I thought if I wanted to stick around I should introduce myself properly!

I have one cat, aged 7 months, named Skittles (or as he is more commonly known round these parts right now, the Ginger Menace)

I've always loved cats but only had one of my own before, an older stray I fed for months then managed to take in to become an indoor cat. The vet told me he must have been owned before as he was neutered and came around to us very quickly after the initial nervousness.

Skittles is gorgeous but definitely a handful, I love having a cat again though as it has been 6 years since Broomstick passed and my only outlet for furry loving has been with my boyfriend's (we don't live together) cat, now three

Hello again, thanks everyone for your lovely welcome.

Here are a couple of photos of Skittles taken this morning. I don't know what on earth has happened but I couldn't find any of the older ones I had except one his first owner sent me when he was only about six weeks so I apologise for them not being the best pics, every time I caught him in a nice pose he saw the camera and flopped onto his side and just looked at me like "What?"

Oh and this one is from last week which I put on Facebook along with a plea for help after he got himself stuck up on top of my cupboards and miaowed like nothing on earth! He jumped down as soon as I offered some meat (bit of a rough landing though) but I still don't know how he managed to jump that far in the first place! Please ignore the mess, I was doing housework when I saw him and dumped everything on the counter

Oh oops.

Sorry for the huge photos, I've taken a total blank how how to resize images.

I'll learn for the next time!

Skittles is so cute but looks like trouble
Welcome!

I have a really important question. Why is there an empty bottle of Jack Daniels on your counter if you are from Scotland?

Haha! My friends and I prefer bourbon and Jack Daniels is pretty popular over here but my favourite is Makers Mark, I hate Scottish whiskey though. And haggis. Porridge is alright (but not with salt - the "proper" Scottish way to have it)

If you look closely you can see I've filled the bottle with wooden flowers, it usually sits in my living-room. My mum does not approve
