I have only just seen this. I am glad he is better after one shot, and maybe the fact it got so low means he just needs an extra shot? Fingers crossed this is enough to keep him stable for another year.

to all, thank you.

We'd just gotten spoiled by his doing so well the last couple of years.
But for 3 - 4 years there we were at the vet daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, so of course we'll do whatever needs to be done, as long as there's something to do.

He's still got an increased appetite.

Betsy - I saw the thread already, but thanks for the vibes for Tuxie, and hope our experience with Spooky did help.

Hopefully for Tuxie and you, that won't happen again this time.

Laurie, you go through so much with your babies. Your love is boundless and I pray that Tuxie gives you a great birthday gift.

His appetite is still good! He's not "crazy cat" yet - and he's not beating up on his brothers or sisters - and we haven't seen him glowing pink yet - but he DOES seem perkier!
Nothing I can put my finger on... just... something about him.

all.

I know I'm probably driving everyone nuts, but I'm really worried. He is NOT looking pink, and I'm not sure we're going to wait the two weeks. I'm calling Stan (his vet) tomorrow to ask what he wants us to do.

His appetite is still good. But he's just not bouncy like he should be this long after a depo shot.

Hope Tuxie soon feels better. Your cats are so pretty, all of them. I love Spooky and Sheldon.

Dont apologise, you aren't driving us nuts at all. I think ringing the vet today and getting his advice would be a good thing, hopefully he just needs an extra boost as his numbers were so low.

Tuxie's the same, which is good, I guess.

Stan wasn't in today.
No need to talk to a different vet, it's not an emergency (knock wood). I left a VM, and he'll call tomorrow am.

Thanks for asking.

In fact, thank you everyone for the support.
I really hate this.

Tuxie's vet wants us just to keep an eye on him through Monday. If things haven't changed by then, we make the appt to bring him in next week.

(What we need to look for is more pink in gums/nose, and increased level of activity).

Oh, my. Many vibes for Tuxie and you. I've been following this thread, on the one hand being so grateful that Tuxie has you keeping such a close, loving eye on him, and on the other hand feeling so bad for you.

It's so hard watching our little buddies not feeling quite up to par - and we certainly know by watching closely when something is "off".

I'm hoping that soon his little nose will be a light rosy pink, along with his gums, and he's back to being his crazy self.
