Music Instruments

I am just wondering how many musicians we have here. Please answer.

1. What instrument(s) do you play.
2. Do you sing when you play.
3. What style music do you play.
4. Where do you play your music, ex. church, or other.

Just thought this would be a fun thing for us to know about each other.

I play the guitar.
I sing when I play
I like Southern Gospel and Bluegrass
I play at home and at church some. Also get together at friends house.

1. What instrument(s) do you play. Piano and organ.
2. Do you sing when you play.Sometimes, depends what I'm playing.
3. What style music do you play.Classical, ragtime, Christian. I also teach all styles of piano and vocal music.
4. Where do you play your music, ex. church, or other. At home, have a 5'10" grand piano in my living room. At church, I'm church organist. I play an occasional gig at a local dude ranch/resort, e.g. Christmas Eve. One of the most fun things is playing the music for the old-time melodrama we do every year for Gold Rush Days.

I did all the way through school, and actually got my sax out a few weeks back at work. Actually high school band is where I met my Beau

1. What instrument(s) do you play. Alto Sax, Piano, A bit of Baritone, and a bit of flute.
2. Do you sing when you play. Hard to play a wind instrument and sing lol! And I dont have a piano right now
3. What style music do you play. Havent played in a while. Played lots of marching and band tunes lol! And loved pop music on the piano.
4. Where do you play your music, ex. church, or other. Used to be in a football stadium lol but not just the comfort of my own home!

I play the cello. My current teacher is a long time member of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, which means I'm serious about it and pay a lot and travel far for lessons.
Actually, job pressures have kept me from lessons the last few months.

I only play classical music. I have been in a university based community orchestra. Also have played in some small chamber groups. However, performing is not why I play and I don't care about that.

When I was in school I played the keyboard, and the flute but that was it. I still have both of them, and thinking about learning the keyboard again sometime in the future.

I played the oboe for 6 years and loved it, but didnt have the money to buy my own and lost access to the one I had been using....would love to one day buy one and see if its like riding a bike...I always loved playing the oboe, and was in band though highschool, a small chamber orchestra as an Undergrad, and a community band as well. Definately was in it for traditional classical music and christmas songs....LOVED every Christmas concert I ever played.

I also play the guitar, mostly for the purpose of singing along, but I just do this at home, or in front of certain friends. Love playing the guitar

3. What style music do you play.Mostly Southern Gospel, but just about anything else too.
4. Where do you play your music, ex. church, or other. Mostly at church, sometimes at home. I play both by ear and can read music, and love, love, LOVE to perform, lol!
