Well, it is quite snowy here today already. But to us Canadians, we call this winter so it's no snow day for me

Off to work in a bit, and then tonight we are going to relax and watch the last episode of Dexter. We might go to the gym as well.

I hope you all have a good day, and stay safe in this snowpocolypse!

Hi, there

It's been cold in the 20s-30s here but very bright and clear. One of those things where you look outside and it looks like a beautiful sunny day but as soon as you step out you remember your coat

Nothing special planned today, just the usual stay at home with the furkids and animal and house chores..very exciting, I know

Have a good day everyone and be safe if you're having some of that crazy weather I keep hearing about.

Morning all!

Just waiting to get hit with the big storm.
Dana had to come to the office today, so I came with him. Hopefully we'll be able to make it home safely this afternoon.

Chores to do tonight as nothing really got done yesterday.
Then we'll be curling up to watch American Idol.

I'm in Southern Ontario and we had all the warnings and scares but ended up with only a couple inches of snow so perhaps when it reaches you it won't be so bad.

Morning and Happy Hump Day!

We're home today. We didn't get that much, probably because the temperature increased sooner than they thought it would. Oh, we got ice, but nothing like what was expected. DH and I got up this morning, looked outside, and went back to bed. Well, he went back to bed; I fed the kids and then made roasted pepper and mushroom omelets and breakfast potatoes, and took it all back to bed to share with him. He's out now shoveling and cutting ice in the driveway. I'm doing laundry and am getting ready to try to make some caramel crumb bars.

So that's it for here! Hope you're all safe and sound!

Morning... Happy Groundhog Day!

I hope everyone survived the ice/snow/winter junk storm ok. My mom's work opened at noon today. She said by that time the roads were either kinda slippery-slushy, or flooded, as things were starting to melt. Yuck. Here it's sunny, about 60 right now, supposed to go up to about 65. It was cold last night though, it's been cold at night for the past few months. I hate it!

I have to take bottles and cans to the recycling place today, and probably will do my site inspection. Blah. Also homework, and class tonight. Maybe figure out what to do with my chive seedlings. I have everything else planted outside, so now I just wait!

Oh, Genever gave Dorothy a face-bath this morning on the bed!!! It was so cute! I will go post a bragging thread about that soon.

Have a good day everyone, be safe on the roads!

Afternoon!

I'm on vacation this week. I spent Saturday, Sunday and Monday literally vegging either on the couch or in bed. I was so exhausted and sore from the previous 3 weeks. Out every single day, lugging stuff...it was just too much. I usually have one day a week where I stay in the apartment and do absolutely nothing other than putter around doing light things or nothing.

Today I finally got around to doing stuff that I had planned to do on my vacation. Getting rid of clutter, really cleaning and decluttering my kitchen so that I have room to actually cook!

I'm about to post my queen size bed frame online to sell it. It makes my bed way too tall for me. My brother took the frame off before I had surgery and I find that I like being able to get into bed like a normal person instead of feeling like a 1 year old trying to climb up onto a giant's chair.

Then a nap, and finally making some soup. I froze large freezer bags containing all of the ingredients I need. I just have to add water and cook. Easy peasy!

Good evening, or actually morning.. 5 am and Thu here! (I'm here always one day too late..
) It's a bit misty outside, just below zero. Luckily the horrible -25C season is gone, at least for the time being.

I was babysitting my niece for few hours, washed the litter boxes and cleaned a bit around. I'm sure the neighbors appreciate it when I'm always most active during the night, cleaning things and playing with the kitties.
Ordered some new fabric dye because I still haven't found the one I seem to have lost...
Tomorrow (or actually today) I need to visit the hospital again...not fun. Also need to do some shopping and note to self: remember to call grandma.

Now I'm off to bed, I have to wake up in 3 hours. (Why must I always stay up too late..
)
