i recently adopted this little kitten, about 3-4 months old. from a lady. she says that the mother got a cold and her litter got the cold too and all the kittens died except the one. i have noticed since i got the kitten he does seem to sneeze more than i have seen the other cats. i assumed it was because the lady he was with smoked and was just getting it out of his system. once even seemed to have a runny nose. lately i have been noticing that he has really bad breath. i mean, worse than my other cats. and he just smells like poop all the time! especially after he would come out of the litter box. he will always have a strong smell of kitten poop and some actually on his legs and feet! i mean i have even been having trouble holding him because of the smell. i just watched him go potty and it was completely liquid. not even a little chunk of poo. just pure light brown liquid. now im worried. i will be making a vet appointment but i want some opinions too.
but when i first brought him home, his bowel ,movements were fine! I am feeding him the wellness kitten food.
anyone have an idea as to what may be going on?

IMHO, Wellness kitten food makes kitties have the STINKIEST poops!! I really am a fan of Wellness, but I noticed that when we were feeding my little guy Wellness kitten. Gahhhhhh!! I'm sure you're wiping him off with a wet wash cloth or paper towel or giving him a little bath. That will help with his smell. So will keeping the litter box scooped frequently.

Has he been to the vet at all and been dewormed? That would be a starting point. What else is he eating? Is he eating any dry food? If you're feeding him wet food, you can a bit of plain canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling) to the food and that might help. However, a fecal test is probably the best bet at this point in time.

You really should take your kitten to the vet! Just to make sure he's ok.
