i don't know if you can post news stories here but here's one that happened locally here and is just sick at how cruel people can be.....also i tried putting this in the IMO section but it said i didn't have permission to post their....i don't know some people just need to NOT be around animals....

That's really sick. Looking at the comments on that article, it looks like it drove some pretty sick people out of the woodwork, too.

Oh man, after reading your post I had a look at the rest of the comments. The bad ones really lack in perspective. They are the kind of people that make me scared about letting my kittens outside.

They're idiots that don't realise that animals have feelings, and can be hurt, and they certainly do remember those experiences. I believe that animals and humans are equal. Just because we have opposable thumbs and happen to have larger brains doesn't exclude us from the animal kingdom, and while you can't find all of the 's, the punishments for animal cruelty are nowhere near drastic enough. A gift for a gift I say.

I am ill after reading that. I don't understand these insane people who have no heart or soul. I surely hope they will be punished for their cruelty in this life or the next.

That made me want to throw up. I honestly think that anyone who can mistreat an animal is about one hair short of being a serial killer or something. If you can hurt something that can not defend itself at all, then you are worse than scum. That is not just because I love animals...that is because it takes a sick, sick, sick mind to do what this person did to that dog!
